I'm sorry but I thought Mason was mostly poor
I thought masons tenacity and effort was top notch but his passing wasn't that great.. Do think him and bebtaleb look like a good pairing though
You thought Mason was poor?
The amount of energy he put into the game today was amazing.
I was really impressed with him!!!
Mason started off poor, but his work rate more than compensated in the end. Would give him an 8 rather than 9.
Mason poor? Granted Dosen't do anything spectacular but he is so tenacious and important to this team. Runs his a SS into the ground like Parker did in his prime. Mason is such an important player.
Give Kane a 10 myself that 2nd goal was amazing.

Rose Mason Bentaleb Kane, were the outstanding players.
Bentaleb is so important for us… he is going to be absolutely unreal i think.
Chronic, so is Pritchard. The little gem scored the winner today for brentford. Pritchard and Ali next season. The futures bright, the futures lilywhite
You have to give Timmy some credit for having the courage to bring bentaleb into the squad so early, most of us questioned it but he was right!
Today was about the collective rather than any individuals. Amazing team performance. Anytime we go one nil down we just carry on. So proud of club today. And as for King Kane, speechless!
I liked the way poch and bentaleb went over to each other and shook hands just after Kane equalised from bentalebs cross.
I think that Mason was wonderful today and probably is underrated. If he can provide the other attacking players the opportunity to express themselves then he is worthwhile. His performance today did exactly that.

I was at that game against Southampton and really wondered what Sherwood was doing! I guess you can give him credit however if you can't see talent like that and promote it then you are a bad manager.
Sherwood for all of his faults was not a bad manager.

sherwood was a terrible manager. his teams had no pattern or plan. it was an absolute mess.
what sherwood does deserve credit for is his role in our excellent academy. and he deserves big plaudits for blooding bentaleb

"Pritchard, Alli, Dier, Bentaleb, Kane, Mason, Rose, Lamela, Eriksen, Davies, Townsend…. all kids pretty much kids"
Mason, Kane, Townsend, Carroll, Pritchard, Bentaleb all were part of the U21 class of 2012-13 to varying degrees.
Two years later, 4 of them are featuring as seniors, one is on loan to a PL club, and one is going great guns on loan in the league below.
Lloris 8
Walker 8
Dier 8
Vertonghen 8
Rose 8
Mason 9
Bentaleb 8
Lamela 7
Dembele 8
Eriksen 8
Kane 9
Lloris 7 only called on a couple of times but did what he had to do
Walker 7.5 Worked hard
Dier 8 Looking better every game
Vertonghen 7 Done ok
Rose 7 Got caught out for theri goal but was a danger going forwards
Lamela 7 Fantastic workrate and a couple of important tackles
Mason 7 Started dreadfully but stuck at it and got better as the game went on
Bentaleb 9 IMO MOTM for us made a goal, worked liked crazy, totally disciplined in his role, made some vital tackles and retained possession particularly when a couple of others panicked towards the end.
Dembele 7 He really does need a right foot
Eriksen 7 Quiet by his own standards of late
Kane 8.5 Two goals one a great one but as usual grafted not allowing their defence any peace or time on the ball
Poch 9, great team selection, tactically spot on and all the players highly motivated from the opening whistle
Poch kept Lamela on until the end, so he must have been doing what Poch wanted.
Mason is in there because he's faster than Fazio.
Rose was out run for their goal.
Mason is in there because he's faster than Fazio.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you mean Dier? He took Fazios place
No, I mean Mason .... that was the commentator's opinion to, BTW.
But you might say Poch chose people who could run backwards fast. So, yes, Dier too.
As you probably noticed, Rose got burnt running back in the play up to their goal.
Think Pochettino thought this game out very well. Wenger was out marshalled today, but of course he'll cliam his top sriker was out injured.
