Yeah noticed that too. Two in particular in quick succession almost led to a goal.
To be fair though he made one really good save. To be honest it doesn't help when the whole team just retreats. I really didn't get the strategy in the second half take off our two outlets on the counter and then not replace at least one with the pace of Welbeck.
I made exactly this point during his first game
His kicking is shocking and he tends to flap the ball out into dangerous positions
He looks average tbh, slow to react at times and he always spills shots. Szczesny hold on to those most of the time.
We have 2 clown goalkeepers unfortunately.
Nobody came out of tonight's game with much credit,we have to up our game if we want top four.
Sczs is still a better all round keeper than Ospina
Szczesny has the talent but the mental side of his game is the problem, way to immature. compared to De Gea/Courtois who are similar ages.
He's carrying an injury, plainly.
Ospina doesn't fill me with confidence whatsoever
I disagree, thought he was solid in goal again, save for one flap of a corner. His save was fantastic in the 2nd half, got down very quickly. He is being judged too harshly
Mixed bag I thought from him. Took some crosses well under pressure as well. But he's definitley not the long term soloution. We need to buy a top keeper in the summer.
He's a very good keeper who is struggling with a thigh injury. This will affect his kicking greatly.
He reminds me of Almunia - except a bit less accident prone - he's a great shot stopper but coming for crosses is an adventure...
I think Martinez deserves a go, Szczesny has not matured to date as we hoped and Martinez has looked good when he has played
He kept us in it against Tottenham, too.
Wtf!? Ospina had a good game again today. Came out and punched and catched when needed too. Except for one incident where he was fouled by his own defender. The goal yes was his near post but on second viewing Bellerin can't be turning his back to the shot so close to goal. Also Ospina made a very good save from that low shot

Bull Ospina is a solid keeper
I always tought that Wenger's waiting for a bad game from Ospina to get Sczc - his first choice and better keeper - back in the team. In way Ospina would've been given a chance and Scsz - a time to rethink and up his game.
Wenger had the chance to buy a top top keeper last summer but bottled it. Signed Ospina on the cheap who's only ever going to be a back up, nothing more. Hes only had this run in the team due to shezs foolishness.give it a few weeks and he'll be back on the bench and shez will be our no1 again. It's like the fabianski situation from a short while ago
