I'd hoped Lovren was ready to be given a chance again to prove himself against the team where his performance was the last chance and he was dropped. Hoped Balotelli would start too, given a chance.

Even though he's never played for my club, Balotelli frustrates the hell outta me. Shouldn't be bench warming at any club with his talent but has no application and his decision making is woeful!

I will say I thought Balotelli has applied himself a lot more recently. Actually works, relatively, hard.

But yeah, his decision making is horrible off the ball. Doesn't know when to press, how to press, etc.

Lovren is decent, hes just not settled to the way we play in fairness, hes not worth 20m never was but that's not his fault, just hope he works hard and eventually is given a chance again and starts becoming an asset and not wasted as hes a good guy and a good player.

At least Liverpool can do a decent job of the 3-4-3! It's far better than the 3-5-2 LvFail keeps putting out

I expect BR and the staff are working hard on Balotelli and Lovren as they are with Mignolet trying to improve their game so they suit the team more. Sakho was dropped too stormed out at Arsenal was it? didn't play for a long time after that but has looked solid since coming back (apart from the odd game Everton where he looked clumsy/slow on the ball again).

Not entirely. Our plan seemed to be to buy a ST that was good enough to supplement Studge, whether through playing with or backing up incase of injury/resting.

Studge got injured and he didn't score. Arguably not his fault as BR/whomever bought him but still. It's not like he's never scored in his life or is incapable.

But yeah. I don't get the hate that he gets, hope we stick with (support) him at least until the end of the season.
