You could have players from each side....2 or three in the sun bin at the same time.

Who would keep the red informed?

Where would the sin bin be?

How would players keep warmed up? It always sounds like a good idea

Rugby the worst sport ever brehs. Why do you think no mans be watching it? They ain't think nothin through on those rules right there. Ain't no point copying the rules in unpopular sports nah mean? At least follow rules in sports that are good. We ain't tryna make football worse is we brehs?

Or if every card is reviewed/foul reviewed then think of how players would use this to break up the balance of play.....especially when under pressure

I prefer yellow cards. It's more of an advantage in football to play against a man down than Rugby.

Just employ better referees and stop them favouring the underdog.

It is more of an advantage so players would be less inclined to "take one for the team" if they knew they would be down to 10 men for 10 mins.
You would see less cynical fouls and less punishment for nothing challengers.

Not all fouls...just those where the ref seems it yellow. Could be done at the same time with decision Mic'd to the ref. Improves decisions

If the ref is having a game where he is dishing them out like sweet.....

Or a smart player taking a weak yellow just to break up play

So the ref would call a foul, book a player and then have his decision reviewed? What about fouls where it is a possible yellow? Would the video ref be able to over rule and award a yellow?

Would the video ref be a ref who is ranked higher than the on field ref so as the on field refs are of lesser quality? Or would the on field ref be the better one and be over ruled by the worse ref?

All sounds a mess to me. It's not broke. Leave it alone

i wouldnt mind a video ref who can look at events after they have happened.

I.e. yesterday when Henderson got booked after Gayle dived, a video ref could review that, Rescind Hendersons yellow and award one to Gayle, this could be communicated to the ref, who communicates it to the players involved..

Or when gayle dived and play acted that sturridge had hurt him, then got angry when daniel tried to pick him up, and refused the hand shake afterwards, the ref has awarded palace a free kick, so in the interest of not breaking play up, we can carry on as normal, but a video ref could still go back, identify the dive and play acting and advise the ref accordingly, who should be allowed to then issue a card based on the facts.

Even if we dont want the game broken up by video refs, theres no reason a ref cant make a call and then allow the game to continue while the somebody can present him with the facts, at the next break in play the cheaters can be punished, and all the better for the game in my opinion.

even if you dont get the free kick/penalty your way, theres no reason a player deliberately cheating should get away with it, would certainly make players more honest

i know the system couldnt retrospectively give pens, but souare should have had a yellow for hooking dannys leg yesterday.

as soon as players start being more honest, referees will get less decisions wrong

I'm not a fan of using it to give retrospective yellows for fouls. Just the diving, which needs stamping out of the game
