Bad start today! Had Pyunik to win to nil in a double with Kaunas to win (draw no bet) @ bottom Lithuanian club Siauliai. Bloody Pyunik 2-0 up against the boys from San Marino and conceded against 10 men! All the other 5 European ties were "no" goal rush, which would have been good odds.

"I would fancy most of the Irish and Welsh teams to go out right away,"

Newtown taking on Valletta. The Welsh side finished bottom of the Championship round, but qualified via the playoffs. 24 points behind champs TNS. That probably stands out as the best one for me, odds are reasonable.

Trakai 4/7 to beat Torshavn looks big

Red Star Belgrade 1/2 to beat Kairat Almaty too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with Trakai, up there with Zalgiris who are good as far as Lithuanian football goes and showed promise in 2014.

Also, agree with the 2nd pick, wouldn't fancy the teams from Kazakhstan to travel too well. Played a big game against Astana on Sunday.

Suppose the above point is a big one, some leagues are mid season, with others barely back in preseason.

Funnily enough, I backed Balzan youths in play not to get beat by Valletta a few months back. They went 1-0 down and had a chance late on to equalise from the spot, blowing it just as Man Utd did the same day at home to West Brom!

Good thing about the Europa, plenty of choice

Yeah, Rosenborg are in great form in the Norwegian league as well. Yet Molde are in the champs lge, similarly Celtic's opponents Stjarnan look like they are on course to finish 4th/5th this season!

Well the value might come back unexpectedly.

For example on Coral Jagiellonia Bialystok are 2/5 to win in 90 mins, and 1/3 to win -1.

The win price with most other bookies is around 1/6 or 1/7 now.

Home advantage seems to be crucial in terms of the flow of the matches.
