Confirmed on Grange Twitter account that they are considering their position!

Because only a five star London hotel will do
Surely king must be able to do something to make sure this egm is not delayed a further month.
Totally predictable. The requisitioners will have to go to Court to force an acceptable venue, all of which takes time, time that will allow the rats to rob more .

A wee bit of research!....
If something requires shareholder approval and cannot wait until the next AGM, a general meeting of shareholders can be called (known as an extraordinary general meeting until the Companies Act 2006 dropped the term). Usually, it will be the directors who convene the meeting, but the shareholders can force the directors' hand if they collectively own at least one-tenth of the paid-up voting share capital (one-twentieth in certain circumstances). If the board then fails to comply within 21 days, shareholders can go ahead and call the meeting themselves.
As with AGMs, the directors must act in good faith when convening an EGM and should avoid picking a time and place with the intention of making it difficult for shareholders to attend.
Why did the venue even accept the booking?
Surely they knew of the other venues cancellation
Twitter is a fcking shambles over this.
Umpteen tweets sent to @GrangeHotels by all sorts of nutters

"Yeah! Best just arrange it locally maybe some sort of large stadia with dust on the seats"
One thing I did read on twitter was the idea that Ibrox was always going to be the venue, and all this is, is a move by the board, to get as many fans to vote by post/proxy as possible, to lessen the numbers that attend.
Doubt that but an interesting point
maybe somers is just booking these venues, hanging up, hitting redial and threatening trouble while pretending to be a fan?

Wherever it is held the press especially the Daily Record will be sitting tadger in hand hoping for trouble, hope it passes off without any bother to scupper the media but that is a tough call
The Twitter account now says that jelly and ice cream is off the menu.
The media will try and whip it up. Portraying it as a fan and shareholders duty to challenge these people in the hope there is trouble.
I totally agree with Paul Murray and rangers first advising folk not to attend and vote by post or proxy.
Which is the main reason I don't understand the outcry about it. If anything it makes an attempt at adjournment less likely.
That said it's a ridiculous waste of money, that just adds to the list of reasons to punt them
If you look at twitter there are tons of posts from Celtic fans telling them how much trouble Rangers would be. Every negative twitter post to them is from the Dhims.
Why does it concern the obsessed so much? You can bet your bottom Dollar Celtic fans have also been calling and emailing them to get it cancelled!
Unreal, it really is.
It wouldn't surprise me if the same obsessed put on Gers tops to wreck any other meeting.
Paranoia Alert.
You've just given some cave dwellers an idea there Castle.

Not paranoia if it's true do a twitter search with @grangehotels and look at every post. Every single negative post is from a dhim.
The cave dwellers will have worked out how to cancel it. The live for Rangers and hate us more than they love their own club.
