i was asked to meet a deadline, I explained i couldn't because of the fact i had been off 4 6-7 weeks and was catching up, she said the deadline was that and thats it

Unfortunately once or twice I've found myself in conflict with colleagues or more specifically my female line managers who also see me as a threat because I have the temerity to disagree with who they operate.

As you've got witnesses for this incident I'd suggest you let it pass unchallenged as it could just be a one-off.... however keep your ears to the ground and keep your eye out in case she tries to act up with you again or you hear of similar incidents involving other people. Repeat instances of this will show she's a problem that would need to be dealt with by your boss.
