Ince & Bent

Inspired signings. Ince's first was superb

The whole back 4 were shocking. The only positive for me was Forsyth. Because of the mistakes our back 4 are making, our keeper seems to be doing it as well, he can't have any confidence in those in front of him what so ever. Centre halves get taught to head a ball. Check out Buxton for the first goal. Then check out Keogh with the second goal, he didn't even bother jumping cause he more than likely thought Grant would punch it away, he probably didn't want to get hurt. We keep talking about our defence leaking in goals from last season. When is something actually going to be done?
I've said this in an article, is Christie a full back? Cause he's getting worse in my opinion

Did you see the class save that Grant made when it was 3-1 and the amount of times he's done that over the season so I'll excuse him that.

Can't understand why Omar didn't roll the ball down his chest and pass back to Keogh, he got nothing on the header.

Fully agree about Ward and has been more miss than hit for the most part of the season and I wasn't too disappointed when he went off.

Igor it's a good job Mel Morris is paying for Ince and bent to be here. Because if he didn't we would of lost that game last night. Naive defending abysmal

We'd have lost a few more than that

Out of the 19 goals we've scored this year only 6 have been scored by players we own

I did see that Igor and Grant has made numerous excellent stops this season.
Wish he would stop this flapping about when he's 3 yards off his line. It tarnishes an otherwise excellent goalkeeping display.

Very much look forward to getting Russell back.
I think Shotton is our best defender. Christie's uncertainty creeping in is a mystery

This is like an inquest after a heavy defeat.

It would appear like that Watts, but if we really have aspirations of doing this without being in the lottery we really need to be able to grind out wins against teams like Rotherham on cold Tuesday nights and when you score 3 you would have to expected to have done just that.

Who knows it might be a vital point at the end of the season but seeing how we conceded 3, it feels more like 2 dropped.

So I gather you've not been on Twitter..... Keogh is getting a hell of a lot of stick

Agreed AJ regarding Russell, think he's been our best player over the course of the season and will be expecting him to come back hungrier especially with the new competition for places post injury.

a wish someone would tell me who'd be a better defender than Keogh who'd be available to derby.
folk keep saying he's not good enough but nobody can give a name.

It's a tragedy that Albentosa can't play due to injury sustained by a complete mystery.

I saw him and thought he'd strengthen our defence just enough. What ever happened?

Griff, any info coming out about Raûl?

just his back is a concern and don't know when he is going to be back. If the club knew he was missing his insoles they wouldn't have played him. He never said anything. He thought his management team had packed them. It's abit like when you was at school doing PE and you blamed your mum for not packing your boots for you. He's got them now but needs to wait until his back issue clears up.

Thanks mate, was a little worried that he was finding it hard to acclimatise with culture, weather etc.

Hopefully lay a claim for his place for the run in.

its similar back complaint that bucko had few seasons go when it was misdiagnosed as a hernia. Bucko has been helping him with his injury and settling into the area. theres also been comments that Ince and Bent don't fit into the dressing room. These are way off with both of them fitting right in with the team. Look at how the team celebrate with either of them when they score.

posted on 18/2/15

From what I've read they are very impressed with the team spirit as is Jesse.

Had to laugh last night when someone said that nobody celebrated with Ince when he got the second, while all he was doing was grabbing the ball and running straight back to the half way line to get on with the game, as in the right thing to do.

How did Lingard play?

Criticizing Grant is a bit off for me, how many points has he saved this team this season? He's been excellent for me

posted on 18/2/15

Igor....that just shows how some fans just want to find negative aspects in the team.

Listened to the brum match tonight and it was so dull. Derby might not be good for the heart but it is never dull! Grant had a bit of a mare especially the second ( love it when goalies shout at the defense after they screw up!) but he has saved the team on numerous occasions so won't blame him

Just an observation Jorvik.

Grant has won us many points this season, but on Tuesday, he cost us 2. I don't think there is any arguement there.

So Granty is solely to blame for us not winning the game?! WTAF?!

posted on 19/2/15

Only the same as Keogh was solely to blame for us losing the play off final.
