"he reformed and improved stadium facilities"
"He took the club which was making significant losses to one of the top 20 most profitable clubs in Europe."
Are these lies??
FFS ...he's defending Llambias now !!
stevie is being made air tight by LLambastard, Ashley and big Hodor Easdale
look at the comments below the article
he is being extremely economical with the truth
I'm far more interested in what profit and losses Newcastle made under Llambias than what the headline turnover figures where.
Here is the crux of it lads:
Lies were told in that Llambias overseen turnover rising from £85m to £123m
That I accept
The reality if turnover dropped by a small amount during his five years
However, how much money was the club losing when he took ovre, andhowmuch of a profit was it making when he left, while the turnover stayed the same???
Can you answer that??
Or are you just going to ignore it, because the facts of that are that while making the same amount of money, Newcastle were able to operate in a manner that seen them make a profit rather than significant losses??

In the words of many an esteemed businessman:
Profit is reality, turnover is fantasy
really need less hysteria and more action
Stevie FFS read it all.
During his tenure combined commercial & matchday revenue reduced by £13.4m
Total turnover fell during his tenure and was only saved from larger losses due to the rise in TV revenue.
He didn't turn a profit he made losses of £616k
They would have been very profitable if it wasn't for onerous contracts with regards to merch sales & ad rev. Get the connection yet!

He might say - It's al-right, it's only the merchandise arm and match day revenue arm that had significant reductions!

I know he's filtered me but I keep seeing SPR say we need less hysteria and more action, yet never offers an opinion on what that action should be?
sitting on the fence is no good
Stevie is clearly pro board, pro Ashley, pro easdale and pro somers
SPR has a sore ar$e from sitting on the fence
Every other Bear on here wants change

He works for Sports Direct on a zero hours contract and he doesn't want to criticise Ashley incase he reads this and stops giving him shifts!
Cal those figures tell a completely different story and if you look at the full tenure it's completely different.
Been a few articles from the mag that seems to get quoted as gospel truth on here but if you look a little deeper they generally don't stack up.
I genuinely think Stevie is on Ashley/boards payroll.
That's why I don't argue with him any more. It's pointless. He's clearly part of the propaganda machine. Either that or he's thick as mince and I doubt that.
