I see Mayweather winning on points. He will prove once and for all that he's the better fighter.
Pacquiao is a great fighter and a brawler but Mayweather by far the more superior technical boxer and tactician in the ring. Just don't see him ever losing.

Floyd on points.
Shame it's 8 years too late. They would have made a ball of money had they they fought 8 years ago as this could have been the rubber match as there third fight.
I love and hate boxing.
I think Mayweather wins by unanimous decision.
Let's settle this one and for all.
Mayweather - points. Unanimous
Sounds ridiculous but can't see anything but a Mayweather late stoppage. Reckon May will just win round after round then last few Manny will go all out and floyd will catch him
Floyd finally grew a pair, all it took was 6 years and a lot of PEDs
I wonder how Floyd will deal with the fear.
Finally.... its not like Tyson v Holyfield, when they should've back in 1990!
Tyson would've still lost.. but man those fights were epic!
but at least it's on...
I think Roger/Floyd Snr may have to throw in the towel
I will do a full breakdown of this fight.
what's with the slap to the Eye?!
you disagree?..
I hope Floyd doesn't pay off the ref again and doesn't resort to cheating.
Let's hope Floyd hasn't forced Manny to wear pillows
They wear their own gloves
I'm gna go for a manny points win!
Would love Manny to do it, but I think Mayweather will probably win.
I think a lot will depend on the footwork of both boxers. Manny finds excellent angles to throw punches and Mayweather is a master at judging distance and countering.
If Manny can throw the volume of punches eh can do and gets into the right positions which his Southpaw stance should help with, he can cause Mayweather problems.
Mayweather on the other hand likes to lead with excellent right hands then counter and is defensively so sound. I think he will catch Manny on the way in.
Mayweather UD would be my guess.
Finally confirmed then.. 5 years later.
Boxing has moved on (despite what this fight will generate thanks to American TV and other companies desperately promoting every angle of it) for the better.
5 years later we actually get fights where the best take on the best, where exciting fights are made all over the globe.
You still get your duckers and divers but they're being forced out as promoters are slowly beginning to work together to make top fights and top dollar.
The quicker Mayweather is out of the game the better (and I'm no PAC fanboy before the abuse begins.. Just stating the obvious that Mayweather is the last big remnant of the previous gen of ducking fighters out there).
Boxing needs the best to fight the best otherwise more and more people will turn away from the sport.
Just glad this fight is finally on (assuming no fake injuries) so that the crappest debate in boxing can be settled and we can all move on.
Although we'll no doubt be subjected to the losing side arguing forever that their man would've won had the fat happened 5 years ago
In a nutshell, what I'm trying to say is that next year we can FINALLY move on from this endless debate that's done its best to divide fans and bore any debate between us.
Hopefully

Wow !! Honestly I never thought this day would ever come.
Obviously its still a bit of a tragedy that we didn't get this fight a few years ago but as I said earlier better late than never.
It's happened at last no matter how too late and if you are like me you got that rush up the back of your body

Yes at least 5 years too late.
Pacquiao is not the force he was 5 years ago.
Despite all the euphoria isn't it kind of sad that it's taken so much work and so many years to make this fight finally happen.
Clearly there is something very wrong with the way that boxing is structured as a sport if two of the best fighters of their generation didn't fight each other in their prime.
If not for a chance meeting at a Miami Heat basketball game this fight might never have happened.
What does that say about the current state of affairs in boxing ?? Nothing good.
