I think Ward beats everyone from 175 below.

If Ward want Golovkin, then he should go down to 160lbs or meet at a catchweight 163/164.
Golovkin wants to be undisputed champ at middleweight.
If they fight it should be at 168

I see someone struggling against guys like Beterbiev who are extremely strong on the inside and hit during clinches, hard to clinch cleanly. Beterbiev has beat guys like Usyk and Mekhonstev in the amateurs, those guys are extremely good boxers.
Ward isn't a mover like Floyd or Lara, he can move but he fights stationary a lot of the time, he relies a lot on slipping, rolling and catching punches, countering and clinching. Against bigger, stronger guys, catching punches will be difficult, they will punch right through you and if you're not strong enough to clinch it spells big trouble.
Also the Russians lads at 175 are class boxers, they're not face-first robots like guys like Provo, Rios etc

Shameful calling out fighters from lower weight classes and not moving down to their weight class. Or even meeting them half way
I like Ward but he shouldn't be waiting for GGG to move up. He should move up and challenge himself by fighting Kovalev who's becoming very popular and a fan favourite like GGG.
Of course neither of them HAVE to move up, but they should prove their greatness and P4P skill by beating bigger and stronger guys

lol that's very stereotypical and not accurate. Kovalev and Mekhonstev are great technicians. Beterbiev has been a bit wild as a pro so far but he can box a bit as well. Sometimes I wonder if people actually watch these guys fight or just assume they have a certain style based on nationality...
Look at Lomachenko, arguably the most skilled fighter P4P and he's...Eastern European

That is the problem, most of them don't watch the fights, they prefer to read articles and reports.
Best way to learn about boxing, is to watch fights the more the better.
Ukraine produce a lot of technical fighters, Usyk is another one to keep an eye on. Unreal talent, fights at cruiserweight atm.
We already saw how Kovalev handles a crafty fighter in his last fight. Completely outboxed and shut him out. Of course BHop is well past it, but a lot of people picked him to win.
Kovalev can box, that was obvious even before the BHop fight. He has a strong amateur background and has shown it as a pro.
you've been doing some damage on nsb lately D4
I may have gotten into a few disagreements
When are you doing your full Pac vs Floyd break down? I look forward to your analysis
I have broke down the fight several times in the past but things have changed.
Got any few things in mind, just want to make it detailed but concise, and present it well.
I see Floyd getting the better of it in the centre of the ring obviously. When he's on the move, Pac needs to do a better job of cutting the ring off than he usually does, he needs to throw in bunches and get back to what made him.
Floyd will only counter him with single shots, unlike Marquez who countered in combinations and threw WITH Pacquiao, Floyd would never exchange with Pac. Also Pac should try and counter Floyd's jab with right hooks, even if he's not landing it makes Floyd think twice about throwing his jab and controlling the fight.
Pac won't tire like a lot of Floyd's previous opponents and you know mentally he will be 100%, not afraid and EXPECTING to win.

--------------------------------
Yeah good call. Floyd is definitely going to try to use his reach advantage over Manny, goes without saying.
If Pac makes Floyd afraid to jab then it will take away one of Floyd's biggest natural advantages.
From a Pacquiao perspective I do think that the reach disadvantage is going to be a big problem for him in this fight, especially with Floyd being as clever as he is.
Roach needs to be on the money "excuse the pun" in his tactics and how he gets Manny to approach the fight.
Manny will have to be much more clever with his shot selection. If he goes in gung ho then Floyd will simply pick him apart although I doubt Manny or Roach would be that stupid.
Would love to see GGG vs Andrade
Andrade vs Rose was a complete mismatch last year. (lol)
Cotto is not gonna fight GGG because he knows hes going to lose so he is staying well away.
Just like Stevenson is staying well away from Kovalev cos he knows he is going to get beat.
The Power are all from the East..
I hope I don't start to see manny getting dominated pretty early on. I'll start to get a sinking feeling then. I want manny to win because for me, it'll change the sport of boxing at the top. I think this is the perfect time for Floyd to get humbled.
