It's nice to be confident about your team but not getting too irate if they don't win.

To be able to see clear progression of a side despite setbacks and a poor opening third of the season.

To not really go mental over refs or have your manager refusing to talk to the media and talk of conspiracys.

To believe it when a manager says he has a way of working and once players get up to speed with that style you can see it in the team.

Whatever the result today we've done very well since end of December and we have a big test today of our squad.

Hope we win, would take the draw, won't be too disappointed if we loose.

Come on reds

I see a shockingly easy victory for Liverpool today. 2-0 with little danger from Southampton.

This game seems to be getting more important by the second! With Spurs looking like they're going to lose, this is a massive opportunity to make real inroads into the top four. Trouble is, Southampton will be saying exactly the same thing.

kneerash, I disagree! Will be very disappointed if we loose seems as we've been so tight defensively recently

In all seriousness, win this and we have closed the gap for all intents and purposes. Only 3 points off arsenal, 2 off united and 1 off soton. With so many of these teams still to play each other. Lose and it is a huge missed opportunity and eases the pressure on teams above us. Are we realistically gonna beat City next week??

not sure it's worthy of that. It is almost a local derby and will always be a tough game for them.

Kane really has luck on his side but fair play to Spurs they've picked up 16 points from loosing positions this season.

Really hope we win we go above Spurs if we do within 3 of third, set our sights on the side directly above us and get ahead of them, one team at a time and today offers us the chance to go ahead of Spurs.

It is getting to the stage where draws just aren't good enough, especially at home. The two teams who get 3rd and 4th will be the teams that win the most rather than the teams that lose the least

The reason is because they fear that we're finally getting it together as a club and are ready to properly challenge for the title every season and potentially dominate for years to come with a brilliant manager in charge.

I think they preferred us in recent seasons when we were sacking managers left right and centre, in general chaos and just struggling to get into the top four without ever challenging for the title. That's where they were comfortable with us being.

Since Jose came back we've once again looked like a proper football team for the time since we won the Double in 2010 and a club that is finally being run properly in all aspects and very much back on track.

Maybe some people think that if we don't win the title then Jose will be sacked at the end of the season. I'd like to remind those people that Jose will not be sacked even if we don't win anything this season (which is entirely possible as we have no divine right to win trophies).

Just because you don't win a trophy in a season it doesn't mean that you haven't made progress and the progress we're making as a club in all aspects is clear for all to see after years of outright chaos and being totally rudderless.

If we stick with Jose then sooner or later we will win the title again as well as other trophies and the club are more than aware of this. The club is also aware that there is no other manager out there better suited to helping Chelsea FC achieve it's goals.

So I'd ask those who are praying that we don't win the title or any trophies this season that Jose will still be Chelsea manager next season and we will simply come back even stronger.

This attempt to derail our season is not only futile in the long run but it's also really denting the reputation of the Premiership and English football.

Jesus Jose has done some job on Chelsea fans they genuinely believe "they" are out to get them

Really noticed how Whiney they've become in recent weeks funny how it's coupled with relatively poor form

United fans too in meltdown just so glad we are settled and moving forward game by game

Jammy Spurs again! How much luck are they getting this season? If that was Suarez everybody would of said he dived what a cheat he is! Oh it's Kane yeah that's a pen... Please. Refs are just having a shocking weekend. We need to bring in technology. Oh well that was a surprise that Spurs dropped 2 points had them dead certain to win. Now this saints game is massssive because of the other results this weekend!

It is true the haven't got a load of decisions this season, same as us really and the media are treating Costa the way they did Suarez, since they don't have Suarez to write their stories for them anymore.

Arsenal have once again been getting everything, with the last game being a perfect example. A penalty where the foul was outside the box and an offside goal.

Jose has a point.

it's true. But fans always get influenced by managers. And Jose is just being clever, he knows if he creates this fantasy "campaign" there will be pressure on refs to make sure they don't make errors against Chelsea. This in turn leads to nervousness and indecision and lots of decisions in Chelsea's favour. The fact he's the media darling adds to this
