He has an offer on the table. He should sign it.
Club just needs to pay him the £100k per week whatever, won't get anywhere losing your best players.
He is probably waiting till the summer to make his decision, but he's better off with us then a bench at city or Madrid

He's not a stick on to start with us the way he's playing. Bar the goal he was poor today.
He's poncing about in a purple Porsche carrera... he ain't poor!

the boy is nowhere near those three and never will.
a good deal is in fornt of him... if he doesn't sign it we should sell him and say hey.... get ibe on a 5 year deal... end of.
We need to pay him what he's worth and be done with it. He's already one of, if not our best player.
The club desperately needs to keep him. He has them over a barrel, but he needs to stay.
It's in his best interests to stay too.
he was rubbish today
But I hope he signs soon
Oh god. Owen got Ballon D'or doing nothing all game and then finishing. 20 year old being played out of position and scoring regularly and people are saying "He's not a stick on to start with us the way he's playing. Bar the goal he was poor today."
Hope he signs but he's a London lad and probably wants to wait to see if we get CL football.
Hope he signs. Quality player.
With gerrard and most likely Johnson gone int he summer that's two big wages off the books, but we can be held to ransom either.
I don't really have an issue with Raheem waiting till the summer all players want to play in the cl and I'm sure should we qualify he will sign
I have no issue raheem and his representstives playong hard ball to squeez out much as they can. However surely he must realise he is better of staying with us or a club that will give him game time. If it is just about the money i expect us to sell him in the summer. And besides we already have his replacement in ibe!
surely

He'd be an idiot to jeopardise his Liverpool career over greed, not many players leave us and go on to better things. The young talented squad around him, a lot of it English too with a manger and club who have backed and helped him develop etc it'd be such a shame if hes growing big headed as I don't think it will be tolerated by BR at all.
At only 20 he has a long way to go still and a lot of time still so he needs to keep his feet on the ground and stay level headed. I think the bond between Studge, Hendo, Ibe, Sterling etc is strong hope he signs soon and commits to the future which is looking bright. BR said hes been offered an incredible deal for a young player so I doubt he'll be getting another one offered.
If someone offered silly money this summer i'd sell. He's very replaceable and he's not so important to this team right now that it would have the sort of impact suarez's departure had. i'm talking £50m+ i'd be tempted.

At the same age Owen was by far and away the better player. A genuine world class striker.
You say you hope he signs as if the club are leaving him with no choice but to leave. The manager has already stated he has a good offer on the table.
As for waiting to see if we are in the CL? If he gets his arsè into gear he can be a part of that with us.
If he goes at the end of the season it's down to greed. No player is bigger than LFC.
Owen was not far and away a better player at all. He was an exceptional finisher with an excellent first touch. Sterling is a nailed on starter for us because he has 6 goals and 5 assists in 23 games or something. He's versatile, hard working and teams double up so that creates space for others as does his excellent movement.
What some seem to fail to realise is that good players want to play with other good players. Sell your good players and it makes it harder to get others in.
I'd love to know what he wants and what's being offered.
When Owen was 20, season 99/00 (both he and Sterling were born in December), so exact same age as Raheem this season, he scored 11 goals in 27 Prem games, with no assists.
Raheem has 6 goals and 5 assists in 24 games.
They are pretty much exactly comparable in terms of impact on the pitch at the same age.
Don't know how true this is but I'd heard that Sterling's management team are splitting from the company they are currently with to set up on their own and there is a debate as to who gets the commission on the new contract.
If this is the case then a signature will not be forthcoming until it is resolved.
As these management types tend to be sharks I cannot see this ending well for Sterling.
These people are usually all about the money and will go to great lengths to get a bigger slice of the pie.
Having said all of that, it is still only here say and could be miles from the truth. But, me being the trusting type would like to think it isn't Sterling holding out for a bigger slice himself.
