----------------------------------------------------------------------
but what about what you'd be leaving behind?
At least you could make a bit of coin at the bookies
Without a doubt I would go back to the early eighties and see all the amazing bands like the clash etc. I would then put half my money in stocks of Apple and buy up property and sell just before the big crach etc and become the next Warren Buffet.
Then as I hit my fifties I would invest in google and become an angel investor in Facebook. Boom! I am assuming we have memory of past events from the future if that makes sense.
A 20 years with out sky channels, mobile phones or technology. Yeah I think I could get over that very quickly.

Like what?
Hell yes and I'd gladly live the 80's again, having 15 million to invest along the way would help as well, there were quite a few get rich quick opportunities, by the end of the 80's I could be buying Chelsea off of Ken, I could at least keep Matthew Harding off of the helicopter.
You have £15m pounds, do you really think you would miss the Internet, Sky TV etc?
Btw, you say you could take your missus... Does that mean I could leave her behind? With £15m I don't want an anchor around my ankles!!
If you went to 1990, Sky and the internet are only a short way away... and besides as others have said you'd be minted.

I'd be setting up camp in the playboy mansion, 80's style
Chicks didn't really trim or shave their bush back then though, that would definitely have to change
With the knowledge you have now of where to invest and what in (let alone the money to be made in betting when you know the winners/losers), I would go back for free if I could take my family.

I'd happily head back to 1990 with 15m of spending money.
Certainly Wouldn't miss Sky, the Internet etc. Would miss the family.
More interesting would be, would you go back to 1890?
You would be one of the richest people in the world with £15 million.
But it would be 1890 FFS
Imagine trying to get used to travelling in a horse drawn carriage

No, No and No again. My son would then be in his 20s during the first world war. The idea of him in the trenches? No way!!
It would be a nightmare.
No central heating
What else would you be without i'm not up on the 1890's
Flushing toilets
telephones
electricity

Yeah fack that
Very difficult to go anywhere decent on holiday too... and the only food would be that which was grown locally. No fridge!
Nah, 1890 is a step to far. Just look at the state of the prossies Jack killed... you would have fack all to spend the money on.
1890
None of us would last 5 minutes in those conditions.
Very difficult to go anywhere decent on holiday too
