well its no suprise moreno dont better than markovic considering hes actually a fullback

Moreno for me still lacks an end product. Lots of energy, up and down the wing but his final ball is average at best.

The reason why he was rested was so he could play in Turkey and City.

well hes only 22 and a fullback, not sure what you expect tbh

If your final ball is lacking at 22 then its unlikely it will ever be improved.

Yeah, he's quite an explosive player isn't he. Strong and quick!!

He's clearly good going forward and has potential to be a consistent creator and score goals...(i.e. v spurs)

Ibe and Moreno seem to be made for those roles

ahh thats he end off of coutinho and sterling inna year then

2 goals in 18 starts pretty good for a young fullback, improving your final ball doesnt stop at 22.

No offense to Kash but that is by far the most silliness thing I've read in a long time

That's an alarmingly shocking comment even by Kash's standards.

I think with Enrique's days looking numbered at the club a new left back/wing back to compete with Moreno may be a priority in the summer.

Of course we have Flanno to come back and need to see how he performs and where in the 3-4-2-1 system.

flanno is an interesting one..

for me hes got to be better in the right CB role than a wing back, tottenham goal aside he offers little attacking threat..

however seeing as he was the most dribbled past player in the prem last season, im unsure you want him as a centre back!!!!

manquillo has dropped off the face of the earth due to a lack of attacking threat, interesting to see what flanno can do, in the long term

I disagree that Morena won't get better with his final ball!

He's only just got a run of games and has played just over half a season. Wait until he settles in, learns his teammates habits, movements and practices with them gaining experience and confidence!

Think about it, when you go somewhere new or start a new job/new colleagues/system. You're nowhere near your best until you settle in and the basics become second nature which allows you to start taking responsibility and fulfilling your potential.

I disagree .. he generally puts in a good cross or through ball. Perhaps we are watching different players

Kash has a habit of seeing something different than the rest of us.

The best one was when he said Sturridge could have played if he wanted to, whilst out injured for months.

He has good build up play, a very good outlet for us, lots of energy and endeavour but when it comes to a final ball its too much head down hope for the best. He made a real mess with Sterling's goal yesterday but luckily it ricocheted into Sterling's path.

Having a final ball is something you either have or don't.

That is just rubbish Kash.

Not that he has a great final ball, I don't think he does, but the suggestion he can't improve it at 22 is just mindblowingly stupid.

As he gets more experienced he will learn to pick his crosses and passes better, in terms of playing them in to the right areas and the right players if directly to a target.

Why you would think this couldn't be improved upon is really incredible.

I'd keep Enrique, he can still do a job for us. The one I'm wondering about is Manquillo. He's a decent player to have if we have an injury crisis but hasn't been that convincing, and can't even get in the match day squad at the moment. I'm pretty certain we won't make it permanent but his loan is two years, will he stay or should we cancel it?

I accept that Moreno may not be the finished article, but he's gone an engine underneath the hood. It's evident he came on to do the job Markovic couldn't and he did well (shouldn't have dissented and got himself booked though). I'm surprised that Johnson and not Manquillo (was he on the bench?). Both of these Amish youths have been impressive.

I think he's been quite limited in what he can do with his final ball. Having Sterling as the false nine means that crossing it won't really come to much. Not having an out an out striker means that drilling it across the box is unlikely to yield much. So he's left with trying to cut it back to an oncoming midfielder, which I've seen him do. Hopefully as Sturridge gets more games he'll give Alberto the opportunity to mix it up.

We can do better than Manqullio. If we got an attack minded RWB it would allow Ibe or Markovic to compete for roles further up the pitch.

I think his crossing technique is poor personally but I really like him. Rapid over 20 yards and he has a great mentality. He'll get the odd goal as well and there ate shades of Riise in him although I think Moreno has a higher ceiling.
