Barca were mesmeric in the 1st half.
Mascherano.
Messi has looked back to his best since he moved back out wide.
Man City are $hite, $hite fans, $hite atmosphere
that's what happens when you throw 1 billion at a pub team
Yeh yet England have had 8 finalists and 3 winners in the last decade
Spain 4 winners 5 finalists
City just don't know how to play Barca properly. We'd beat them comfortably if we draw them

maybe make bold statements like this if you get past PSG.
Tony Watt, Tony Tony Watt...

Couldn't believe how poor the atmosphere was, when you hear the player kicking the ball you know its not up to much. City's fans only got going after their goal.
Celtic 2-0 down against Inter, the place was the still going.
Otherwise, felt Barca just let them get back into it. Hart made some good saves too, and well Messi missing that open goal, coupled with some other near misses and its only flattering City.
CANNOT see City getting a result at Camp Nou though

You talk about $h1te fans, 34,000 (our capacity at the time) at home to the likes of Lincoln and York in the old 3rd division. Maybe you are too young to remember this... or maybe you are incredibly stupid.
I have tremendous respect for the great Glasgow Celtic as my late Dad was a proud Glaswegian, but you are a cretin when you come out with pathetic comments with no substance
Messi was brilliant in the first half, Mascherano was awesome but Neymar has a lot to do to justify his tranfer fee. Barcelona would have won if they started with ten men.
Spot on Dalriada, Neymar was anonymous. Loved how he got one knock and the commentator was blabbing on about how he was quiet since that (poor wee soul).

first of all
I don't care if you respect Celtic, im not a Celtic fan
2nd
for years when City were $hit, all we heard was how you were the only team in Manchester, real fans, real club and all that other self congratulatory $hite
if you cant handle fierce criticism for having a $hite home support and again failing to sell out your council house stadium for another massive CL game, then I suggest the internet is not for you
OMG
when I thought you coundn't be more obnoxious, I discover you support some back street pub team from Govan. And you call us a pub team FFS you couldn't make it up

Maybe you'll respect us if we trash the city of Barcelona in a few weeks, urinating over Las Ramblas and terrifying the locals with our loutish behaviour. Sound familiar??
my club might be struggling at present. I have no problem admitting that
.....
and by the way, that's like saying Hitler was a little bit naughty
To be fair, Dennis does have a point, there is almost a sense of "we shouldn't be here" in the stands at City.
They have a cracking pool of players and should be doing better at home but Barca are a cut above the rest
Messi was excellent but for me Busqhets again showed why he's pivotal to that team
Joey - genuine question though, why was the atmosphere so poor last night? Usually teams in England have got pretty decent atmospheres on a Champs league, especially the northern teams, but that doesn't seem to be the case with City?
never knew Barca lost to Malaga on Saturday
they had 70% possession but had less shots on goal than them
Madrid and Bayern final

seeing as you have asked politely, I will try to answer. I think there is still an element of disbelief of our current position when it comes to europe and a subsequent inferiority complex that seems to transmit to the supporters. The atmosphere has never been the same since we moved to the new ground, but the same can be said of many teams, ie-Arsenal. My friend who is a United fan used to hate the group stages of the CL as he said the atmosphere at OT was awful. Regarding last night, I still maintain we were too nervous about getting spanked, rightly or wrongly.

when all Scottish teams are banned from competing in European competition for 5 years due to the appalling behaviour of fans then you can come on and wag the finger
just you stick to mocking Munich aswel
Messi was just mesmeric last night those litlle pivots he does with the ball glued to his feet are immense , such pace with the ball at his feet ...
his passing is outstanding as well
Agree with NNH , bosquets is the metronome player , great control ..he just plays it so neat and tidy in the tighest of spots and his team mates all trust him in those situations
They say when they do those chicken tika- taki drills in training hes the best out the lot of them
really enjoyable game
but totally picked up on the lack of atmosphere at it , even before they went 2-0 down it was dire
