That should see Rooney starting up front I would think but you just don't know with lvg
Injuries if anything have helped selection this season. Hopefully with RVP out we can see less of 2 strikers but if we have to then hopefully Rooney behind Wilson.
The sensible thing would to now play with just the 1 striker and play a 433/451 or 4231 formation. LVG will probably play an extra CB.
This is fantastic news for our hopes of getting top 4. One less passenger to carry. Rooney up top with Mata in behind please
Knowing LvG, it will be Fellaini and Rooney
The Shrek and Hoof combination
Ligament damage is a fücker.... They just get weaker every time you injure them.
While it's never good news to lose a striker who could potential get into form and score a hatful.... In terms of tactics, it might not be the worst news ever.
To those jumping for joy though, I guess you were the same guys jumping around when Carrick got injured early in the season... That worked out, didn't it?

Yep, I don't get fans that get joyous when our own player gets injured regardless how bad they've been. This guy won us Fergie's last title ffs.
The silver lining is that we can now get a settled front line
-----------------DDG
Toni------Jones----Rojo-----Shaw
-----------------Blind
----Rooney-------------Fellaini
----------------McNair
----------Di Maria----Young

You could probably make an LVG team out of that.

Worst part is it wouldn't even surprise me to see that line up.
No RVP? <tree>
LVG will be in the treatment room right now, rubbing his hands together. Mr Miyagi style.

One can dream, would accept Fellaini in for Mata and put Herrera in number 10 role if we want to be solid on Set pieces

Lmao! Been worrying about him.
At the end, it might be the best option since he likes him, that most harmless place to use fellaini is a striker. It could work. Mata might be a good option behind them.
