these packs are going to include :
A message from Chairman Dean Hoyle- our support is great...blah,blah,blah......hard times....blah,blah,blah....you buy the seats and we'll get you in the pub just after half time.
2015/16 prices for new Season Card holders and fans renewing their seat...expect low sales unless prices drop
Information on prices for the prestigious match day White Rose Club in the 2015/16 season....because we need to cream as much cash out as possible
Info on exclusive benefits that Season Card holders can claim at PPG CanalSide.....come and give us some more money
Exclusive benefits to Blue & White Foundation members....exclusive benefits that will set you back at least a further £104 a year
Walking Cash machines, that's us lot.
What I'd like them to say is
1) scrapping of match categories A*,A,B,C,D and Promo....it's all too much and no beggar can work out just how much a season ticket saves you.
2) scrapping the stupid match newspaper that we like to parade as a programme. It's rubbish, I've stopped buying them and I always bought programmes.
3)significant investment in quality players this summer. We seem to be penny pinching at every opportunity,
With regard to Blue and White there was an offer for any new members to receive a free signed shirt. I asked the club when those of us who have been members from the start would get a free gift. No response. It's about time the club recognised long standing supporters instead of taking our loyalty (and money) for granted.
"significant investment in quality players this summer. We seem to be penny pinching at every opportunity,"
Amen. The main reason I won't be getting a season card anytime soon.
I know that no matter how much I moan I will renew. It's just the lack of appreciation (?) for long standing supporters that annoys me.
I sacked off the BWF a few years ago, I got fed up of new members getting 'gifts' when I joined on day 1 and got nothing, I think I won £20 in all the years I was in it.
Then they try and explain the benefits such as the Bar in the North stand you can use as a 'benefit' at a further cost of £4 a match....take take take.
But you could save on your season ticket they said.....not quite a £104 saving though, at first it was 10% but then it became £20 instead.
Another thing about the 'programme'
How come every other club can afford to print a proper programme and yet we can't?
Me and the lad have been to nearly every game since he was7/8. Without fail he got a programme and kept them.
Not bought one since they changed to a newspaper!
They go on about 'bringing revenue into the club' yet print something you'd eat your chips out of.
I agree UTG, a mate of mine been with town since Joseph n Mary were little. He asked the same question and got brushed off with 'trying to attract new people'
It's wrong, seem to be more interested in having new bums on seats than looking after this that have been loyal for years.
They'll be lucky to sell 7k next season. It's far too expensive now a days. I get to about 15/20 games a season home and away, so it's a no brainer for me.
Just out of interest what would you be prepared to pay, what is a fair price?
My view is the dispartiy between SC prices and gate prices is too high. ..almost 40% ..a SC holder pays the equivalent of £16 per game, a casual fan pay at the gate pays on average £26...Once upon a time the argument was that SC holders 'paid up front', but that argument no longer applies with the interest free 10 months terms available.
So rather than putting up the SC prices, I'd reduce the gate prices, in all areas, to £20..fixed for every game. The SC holders would still get a 20% discount by paying £16 and that seems fair enough to me.
A £20 fixed gate price would be very popular and might arrest the continued decline in casual fans attending games. We've seen home gates decline steadily as more casual fans get fed up of having to fork out £30 to watch the 'bigger' games.
I'd also market the 'part season ticket' at a fixed price, paid over interest free terms of say 5 months. many casual fans would buy 10 games at say £18 and once they are on the database they can then be fully exploited by the club with various other offers.
With no prospect of us getting up the premier league under the current regime we will continue to have over 10,000 empty seats at matches...this is not going to improve with the standard of football we have played over the past 3 years but reducing prices might stop the decline.
£15 maximum. They've milked the common man for too long
This year was the first time I didn't have a season card since the 1983/84 season. Main reason being I cant make midweek night games and miss the odd Saturday games and I couldn't justify spending £350 at a time of year when I had loads of other expenses.
I got a Take 10 card and have used that when getting tickets. I haven't been as much this season what with having another young kid and all but next season I am half tempted to take my lad who will be 4. Im just not sure he will be bothered and would probably only come if I let him watch YouTube on my phone whilst eating rice cakes!!! I was only a little bit older when I started going to matches but I honestly cant remember if I was bored or not.
I think more than likely it will be the Take 10 route for me again.
My lad is 11, he just takes his tablet. He's got no interest. I think most kids these days would do the same.

Huddersfield Town 2015/16 Season Cards on sale http://www.htafc.com/news/article/huddersfield-town-season-cards-201516-2322629.aspx
Just rung the ticket office and a season card in the SOUTH stand is gonna be 36.50 a month over 10 months on direct debit...365 in total..but less than 16 quid a game for an adult!
I cant grumble with that and will be signing up for one
Not bad. I cant afford to have any more dd's go out of my account. So I'll be picking and choosing.
And waltz, dont forget "we're improving , season after season" (Dean Hoyle)
Relying on three more sh it teams is improving? Id call it getting lucky.
I know
I still wont be able to attend em all with work commitments..but their has been plenty of games i would have attended if i had the money so im gonna go for it..just wont tell her indoors yet
It will be a lot better atmosphere and view int south stand and better accoustics wit roof on
The club needs to address match day prices and categorisation of matches, its pushing fans away that would otherwise attend...they should not be a game over 20 quid wherever you sit
I agree. Ive just checked last seasons final table. We conceded 65 goals for the whole of the season.
We scored 58 and we got 53 points. Do you think we'll improve on that?
I dont think we will hit 50 points this season and will at some point be under the threat of relegation again
It only takes a couple of wins on the bounce for wigan or millwall and were back in theπ©
