Didn't say it was a crime, I said I found the level of fan criticism over the players AVB rates surprisingly high and contradictory to the high level of praise he receives from the same fans.
Bubbles........
I like the fact AVB is looking at the left back position because no Chelsea fan seems prepared to admit how average Ashley Cole has become in the last 12 months, and quite frankly if AVB has the balls to put pressure on this untouchable it has to be a good thing.
I think we have a good, experienced, homegrown and ready made replacement in Bertrand. And PVA is still a rough diamond but the talent is there.
Would't say Bertrand is experienced. Yes he would be if we were a championship club, but we are not.
Neither is experienced but I would not be unhappy to see Bertrand get some games. Not sure about PVA.
With the amount if games he's got at Championship level I'm much more comfortable playing him then if he was fresh out of the reserves.
Oh yea i would like to see him but i think it would be better for both to go on loan to a premiership team that play's them.
The thing with Cole, is that he is good going forward without the ball, but when he has the ball at his feet, he struggles to go past players.
In other words, he is not a direct player, and that could be the reason why AVB wants to sign Periera, who is a more direct player than Cole.
Just my opinion!
Cole is still better than Perriera defending and Cole does well generally when he has the ball in attacking positions.
Yeah, but maybe AVB wants Perriera in his squad, so that he can have the option of changing the dynamics of the game, if things are not going according to plan.
So it's not a matter of Cole being better than Perriera, it probably has to do with Cole's deficiency which I already highlighted on...not being direct!
Evra is more direct than Cole as well, which gives Mutd another form of attack from the left flank, which could be why AVB wants to sign Perriera.
The manager knows best!
i think AVB just looking for more option.if perriera comes thats mean malouda is off the SB then.mata and cole as first starter and new boy fill whene is nesesery/in case of suspension, injury or off form/
i dont think PVA is ready.more likely he will be send for full season loan and Bertrand stays as a third choice LB. He may play some CC or FA cup.

Full backs and Creative midfielders are the two most difficult positions to find in world football at the moment, no market for them

I don't think we will sign him.I hope we don't actually.GIVE THE POOR YOUNGSTERS A CHANCE!!

That statement wasn't applicable to Carlo...AVB knows best!
He can play CM, we need a CM because we are short in numbers.

I don't think he can.Who?Mata or Parriera?
Perriera can play CM but only in emergencies
Hmm,if thats why we're chasing him then oh well.
AVB said he can play there.
I think Perriera would be like rami in cm.
Alvaro isnt a player with flair i feel. But the thing is if he is playing a dwfender do we need him to be?
