Mate, you have started drinking WAY too early
There is no such thing as early or late in drinking terms . Some may define early as others define finally going to sleep.

K. Lenny......The statistics dont lie...wake up and smell the coffee.
Welcome
Are you saying WGS was better than Lenny,as this may be the first time I have agreed with you on anything?
But wee Gordy wasn't 'Celtic-Minded©'... the Lurgan Lout is. Hence the reason the more successful one of the two got chased out the door.
What I am saying, and have valways said is:
That being " Celtic minded" should not in any shape or form, be prerequisite, to being the Celtic manager, this is a term, that the very naive in our support feed off.
I believe that Gordon Strachan was a much underated manager and also an absolute gentleman of the highest order, and also a pretty good manager too.
I certainly do not believe that, being of a particular religion or nationality, in any way makes you more, or less successful.
Then you cannae be a Tim, Ludge.
I truly believe the green brigade types favour a Lennon over a WGS for some dodgy reasons and I am sure certain Bears will give Ally longer at the job as he is a Rangers man.
However, this could be similar to Dalglish being a Pool favourite,or Keegan at Newcastle.Fans love one of their own in charge of their team and it makes sense,to a degree at least.
Not always sinister or negative to have one of the boys in charge.
There are many statistics, probably , from around the world, for, and against, managers who have, and managers who have not, managed the club that they played for some have brought success and some have not.
Ex players who become managers should have to learn the ropes by starting off at the bottom and working their way up. Just because they were a fans favourite does not give them a right to become a manager. One of the best examples I can think of right now is Paul Lambert, managing lower league teams, doing well, being recognized and progressing and now turning into a real astute manager.
Get a grip! Strachans football was truly awful, shockingly bad. I stood by Strachan but i never ever want to see Celtic play like we did when he was in charge. Look at the team we had had when he took over then look at what he left us.
Strachan had 4years, give Lenny time.

how about the fact that before the last week, lennon was doing a fantastic job, 92 points is more than strachan managed in charge (well 3/4) and 2 cup finals in his 1st season after having to completely change the team.
neil lennon is a good manager and will prove this throught the season
