Clash of styles. Froch's granite resiliance vs Wards quick powder puff hands. Styles make fights, but i can see Ward doing the "sensible" (yet boring) thing of staying away from danger, punch at a distance, HIT AND RUN STYLE. I can see a comfortable points win for ward as he is clearly the better fighter in terms of technique.

However if Froch can wind Ward up enough and tempt him to enter trench warfare, well then, we've got ourselves a fight.

Ward has a higher skill level, is accustomed to 'outpointing', just like Froch.. he'll cruise to a decision victory

I reckon ward will win the fight quite comfortably if he sticks to what he does best. If he boxes and moves I see him winning comfortably by UD.

Dirrell imo was unfortunate to lose against Froch. Ward is better than Dirrell and and has the style to cause Carl a lot of problems.

Another interesting point is about the level of quality both men have experienced.; Froch has probably had the hardest run of any fighter of any era: Pascal, Taylor, Dirrel, Kessler, Abraham and then Johnson. Very very tough, but has won 5 out of 6. Wards history isnt as impressive, but still quite good.

Depends if the tough run Froch has had will put him in an advantageous position due to being ready for anything, or if he has burnt out and has little more to give.
