Also, re. Cameron, it's just a political decision not to attend the debates. If he turns up he'll almost certainly drop several points in the polls, whereas if he doesn't Ed Milliband will commit Hara-Kiri and might boost the Tory vote by comparison.
I'm not a Tory boy, but if it's a choice of Cameron or Ed Bloody Milliband representing the UK on the world stage, I think there's only one choice. Otherwise we'll just see more pics of Milliband struggling to eat his lunch, but this time sandwiched between Putin and Obama. Silly sod'll lean on the Big Red Button and start WW3.

The problem is simple.
This election will be fought on several grounds, the most important ones (in my eyes) are the economy, immigration and the NHS.
soooo....
If you care about the economy - vote Tory
If you care about immigration - vote UKIP
If you care about the NHS - vote Labour
Given my age & state of health, there is only one choice.

Surely NO major party would form an alliance with UKIP?

A trifle unfair on Ed methinks...the usual 'find the worst picture and publish it'
Anyone can look like a spack in the right pic.
There should have been an end to all that spin crap.....maybe that's why David wasn't leader........people had tired of the Blair gloss machine so we got old Gordy to get hated while teflon Tony hopped it over to keep peace in the middle east he'd helped detroy.....good work if you can get it.
I still say Labour think they have little chance so are parking Ed there til its the right time.

When David returns Labour will walk the election. He's actually a credible PM.

The problem with what Norman Tebbitt called "stalking donkeys" is that sometimes the unimaginable happens.
Wallace is the botched attempt by True Labour to purge all remnants of the Blair regime.
But still, the electorate have been stupid enough in the recent past to vote for having Prescott one accident away from having his finger on the button.
