eastdevonram...all teams get injuries...Ipswich's wheels have fallen off after a few injuries...Lewis Grabbon is injured to the end of the season at Norwich, now they have played Millwall his injury might be an issue.
I said a few weeks go Raul is very right footed so we need left footed CB to play alongside him.
Griff was Raul on the right hand side or left at the back?
regarding the injury time...it doesn't matter how long we play for....
I think there was 3 mins of injury time put up on the board...now that's a minimum of 3 mins...not 3 minute max. There was about a 3 min delay in the penalty from it being awarded to the game being kick-off again. about 30 secs or so in delay when the free kick was given by Omar. so we are up to 6 and a half mins stoppage time without taking into account any other add ons...
No wonder....left side with keogh playing on the right.

Cheers Griff, I'm surprised he was on the left as when we signed him, he did say that his preferred position was on the right.
left side is the weakest side regarding CB's and that is hard for me to say
Spineless is way too strong.
Today's result was one of those freak occurrences that sometimes happen in football. In my opinion the Fulham game was worse, by a long way. That game few of the players came away with any credit. Today we played well until injury time.
Our performance at Brighton and again today was, for most of both games, excellent. We were playing without our two first choice strikers.
I'm still optimistic. Albentosa is fitting in well. Ward has found some form. I think, despite his mistake today, Ince has proved to be a fantastic loan. We're joint top with 10 to play and our best players Martin and Thorne are coming back.
We can still do this.
spot on larry...we've hit our worst form of the year and still 2nd.
We played well again today, just not getting the rub of the green at the moment.
Albentosa may prefer to play right side, but regardless he was solid today playing left side of Keogh.
92 mins of sheer dominance thrown away in a few minutes of madness.
It'll turn, stick behind the boys and we've still every chance. Crowd was excellent today for 85 mins, perhaps if all you early leavers had stuck behind the lads for the full 95' we'd have driven on for a 3rd instead of chucking it all away.
Just watched the goals. Ball lofted to the far post. Dawkins under it with 3 Brum players, Dawkins duley 5hite himself and Ince on the post couldn't get further away from it. I agree that those two have no spine but that's where the spinelessness ends.
You can't expect Dawkins to win the ball when challenged in the air by three opponents Iwas. You should be asking the question why that situation happened. I don't think any of the team are spineless or "bottled" it. They just didn't concentrate on the basics for the last few minutes. The ball should have been in the Brum half for the last few minutes not ours.
Looking at the BBC stats it said Brum had 15 shots at goal, What match were they watching? They were awarded 19 free kicks compared to our 15 yet which team was doing all the pushing, body checking and tripping? It doesn't make sense.
tell you what Iwas.....if we are 2-1 up next week in the 110th minute and Norwich have a corner....Russell will mke sure he doesn't leave whittaker unmarked. If he does Ince will make sure he gets a block on the line.
Derby were excellent today. No bottlers at all. I could throttle Hendrick for giving Ince the ball there. It should of been channels andturn them round and get the team and shape together. Bring on Norwich!!!
hendrick will learn from it....so will Ince.
Very good performance considering the absences. Although we really missed Martin and Thorne we still completely controlled the game. We were unlucky not to get one or two more. So that's OK then.
A mistake by Ince. That's not lack of bottle or anything to do with the tactics or the substitutions. He scored a good goal and he had a good match so we won't slag him off, but he could have done anything except what he did. When he first lost possession he could at least have hacked down the Brum player thirty yards out. The game was over at that point. He's a human being though, these things happen.
The second I couldn't really take in. I had said after a few minutes today that the ref had a low threshold for blowing his whistle and that we needed to avoid conceding free-kicks where crosses could come in. At the time I was worried about Zigic coming on as sub and nicking a late one.
There are good times and bad times to concede free-kicks. The one we conceded was unnecessary and while in itself a small error it invited danger and indirectly led to the goal. It's the sort of thing that a player with a stronger head doesn't do.
Mainly, almost completely, it was just bad luck. But what we did gave the bad luck a chance to happen. When our better players are back we will see out games better. Martin will collect the ball, fall over and get a foul which will eat up the remaining seconds. Thorne or Eustace will shepherd the player away without barging in. If we had won today and so had Boro and Watford we would have been in a worse position than we are now, still facing the same upcoming fixtures. We went to Ipswich and Bournemouth when both were in great form and did the business. We have nothing to fear. We have a great opportunity to get promoted and we need to seize the day.
Like I said, rub of the green...
That ball was in the air for ages. It should of been attacked. Ince was pathetic from the post. Dawkins didn't even attempt to win the ball. That might be acceptable with you Griff but it's not with me.
Thank fluck for vidal,Griff,Milf and Hebs
Lots of no shows on here tonight Backo.
Don't tell me all the people who left on 85' are still stuck in traffic
I still cant believe we drew but I shouldn't be surprised about anything in football. But I thought we really played well all round and couldn't see that ending one bit. Still...10 games to go...in the Top 2...its game on
I've got no problem with our performance today until 93 mins when it looked like we went back 4 years to Cywka giving away that stupid free kick.
I had to wait while the police took all of the Brum fans in front of my car on their way back to the station. I have to say they did not seem especially considerate about the disappointment we were feeling. Many of them did not seem likely to be very nice people and several probably weren't sober. It would be nice not to have to play them again for a while.
I hope so MILF. I looked at the North Stand after 80 odd mins and it was half empty. Amazing
