You sir are a genius, This is an article aimed at everyone disagreeing with you and jumping on the Jack Wilshere is overrated band wagon, well played.
I have no idea if that was a compliment or an insult.
A spood and ones of the chavez joining forces to compliment one of our players. Wheat is the world coming to?????
But on a more serious note, he is a great talent but does not produce the end product as much as his talent should. I think the people who criticise him are just frustrated kids. Im hoping that now hes had the pins out of his ankle he can hit top form without the injuries
he does get a lot of unfair flack but thats expected when muppets like Adrian Durham heaped all that pressure on him when he was 18
a lot of the hate stems from him being overrated at a young age

Whilst he might still be able to improve on his end product, I think the compilation above shows that it is nowhere near as bad as people seem to think it is. With some decent finishers in front of him, his assist stats would look a lot more satisfactory!
Good article
It often seems the case that players get overrated/overhyped (like when he was getting hyped up as England's next great hope) and then conversely become underrated when they don't reach the unrealistic heights that were demanded of them.
It seems a lot of fans refuse to recognise what he does for the team. I've noticed this in particular for England: if I'm not mistaken, he was MOTM in his last 5 England games, yet he was still getting harangued by opposition fans for being completely overhyped, run-of-the-mill, passing sideways all the time etc.
I'm not saying the MOTM award is always a perfect representation of the best player on the park, but it does the claims that he shouldn't even be in the England team into perspective a bit.
Before his injury, he was probably our second best player of the season hitherto - behind Sanchez.
He hasn't quite lived up to expectations, but it's worth noting that:
1) The expectations set were incredibly high in the first place, and;
2) He missed a year and a half through injury.
Some attribute the injury-proneness to him, but with our injury record, it wouldn't be unreasonable to question whether there was some poor management of his fitness along the way which contributed to it.
If we can get Wilshere fit consistently, I do believe he can go on to become a top-class midfielder both for club and country.

Those successive MotM performances from him were excellent. If I remember correctly, he could have had a lot more assists if Rooney had been capable of controlling/finishing a chance.

True. Sadly, that's the case for most of team. Hopefully, Shad Forsythe will be able to help rectify this.
