Well the Scots seem to think their perfect up there with their 2nd rate budgets and 3rd rate teams but they are just as overhyped and wasteful as the English clubs, just at a much much poorer level.

No currently it isn't... probably more around 2nd or 3rd...

Probably will end up taking first place for a bit at some point in the next few years, but 2nd or first its great to have top quality football down here...

I mean obviously I wish we had such a poor league that no one would even think twice of talking it up because even fans of the league would laugh at them...

I guess it depends on how you judge a league. If you take it on the best 2/3/4 clubs in each league then the PL has come unstuck against better top 2/3 teams.
Also is it necessary for the 18/20 teams to be better than their counterparts to make the best league, or is it about the games in the league rather than the teams performances in Europe??

The best league is always about personal taste, and as someone who watches a fair bit of football I would say with some confidence that the PL is up there.

We know the scottish leagues are sheite, we just find it funny that you don't see that the EPL is too, relative to its riches and relative to the other big footballing leagues in Europe.

Yes the 2nd maybe 3rd best league in the world is rubbish...

Then I guess that would make the best league below average....

With presumably all the good leagues being played by alien civilisations we haven't met yet...

Either that or Spain's the best and England is next in line with Germany in or around them.
