Put it to bed tonight and send the kids over to Kiev, the last thing u want is 120 minutes/Losing in Kiev to come back and let it effect you PL performance
Cheering you guys on tonight
doesn't appear to be having a knock on effect towards our premier league form. If it was would expect an upturn in form due to confidence. Which sadly has not happened.
Also seems like the Kak is saving his goals for Europa aswell
11 final season before Roberto was appointed. 16, 16, 15, and finally 18 (with FA Cup win) after Roberto was appointed. That is not a record I want for Everton even with a Europa win. If not this season if this man is kept on then we are in for struggle every season, that is not doomsay but rather factual prophecy based on his Wigan form. Pretty football is all well and good but this bloke even after pundits, other Managers and even his own players have told him tactics need changing is still obstinately convinced his methods work. What is scary is Mr Kenwright believes all this BS when the facts indicate otherwise.

Don't disagree with you, but don't think Kenwright would sack martinez even if we get relegated. I for one don't particularly find the football he has us playing at all attractive. Passing around the defence with no idea how to penetrate the opposition's rear guard. Last year we were winning games and let's be honest players & managers can get away with stuff if their team is winning.
Look at you being all positive Mr R.
Happy to see Garbutt get a run out at LB again, would be nice to see Browning also at RB or as part of a back three.
But lord, if you are listening. Play Barkley!
I love my club and only ever want what I feel is best for it. I would play garbutt but would play a strong team. This tie can be easily be won or lost in the first leg.
We're gonna have to play Garbutt with Baines and Oviedo out - Its a huge game for him but I've been impressed so far

I agree, he is a talent and unless he gets game time he may decide theat his future lies away from Goodison. Plus his delivery from crosses/set plays has been better than anything from Baines this season by a country mile
In the process of teaching my Grand Son the ins and outs of football in particular defence. The other night against Young Boys he was the lead mascot walking out with Jags (very proud night for Grand Dad) and more importantly during the game he raved about Garbutt. It may not sit well with you more experienced football pundits but in my opinion at left back, currently Garbutt is ahead of Baines with probably a draw or just slightly as a defender ahead of Oviedo, in other words Baines is third in line on form. As for Mr Martinez, just witness his SSN conference today, he just does not get it.
