He started this game the same as all the others flapping and slapping the ball away. For me and it probably goes against others thinking, Barkley has to play slightly more deeper. I cannot understand why anyone would wish injury upon another, even if they did not regard that persons abilities or, as it appears from this post, his lack of ability.
I also find it peculiar that no positive comments have been made as to how we turned the whole thing around for the remaining 70 minutes.

My view on Howard has remained the same all season, he is not good enough but walks back into the side, as you have pointed out many times we are all allowed opinions
Also I never commented on the performance as I was travelling home and then went to bed
I thought Garbutt and his delivery from corners was poor. Three straight out of play and one that didn't beat the first man, he is much better than that.
Alcaraz like a player short of minutes along with Barkley but both grew into the game. Jagielka was excellent and so was McCarthy.
Barry was off in this game and Coleman looked to be getting back to form.
I would have commented on the arsenal and Stoke game but was admitted to hospital that week due to a very nasty kidney infection......sorry to let you down

Conveniently overlooks the fact that i was commenting on the fact that he wished someone injured, which, after all, was his main point of view.
Oh, and by the way,i do not feel let down by your unfortunate absence, quite the contrary. The silence helped in my early stages of recovery from my surgery and subsequent convalescence.
Glad to be back. I need a laugh. Both of my lower limbs are now useless,but i shall not burden you with any further updates on my health. Must push-off; Bye!

We have a goalkeeper who is more than able to play in the PL, but once Howard returned he was dropped.
That is the reason for my article headline
Robles did ok, yet I still think we need a better keeper than him.
But for what we have he is the best of the two options for me at this time.
He showed better form than howard in his time as No.1 to deserve to remain until form or injury forced him to be replaced by Howard

Completely agree, I am not Robles biggest fan but the fact that he was improving each game and also had 3 clean sheets on the bounce meant he should have kept his place imo. It's not as if Howard had been in the form of his life prior to his injury. Poor management imo.
