Garbutt and Lukaku really stood out tonight.
Atrocious weather and an excellent pitch helped our cause and their Goalkeeper was a bag of nerves.
Liverpool`s groundsman must have noticed that a load of Man- ure, applied fortnightly, does not improve the surface of his pitch.
Go one goal down, then we start playing!
Do you think we can make it to the next round? Still don't think we will win it, but one game at a time 👍
Garbutt put three corners straight out of play an one never beat the first man! His delivery is much better than that. He needs minutes and the opposition was a good standard so he should be happy with his showing.
Jags was immense and helped carry Alcaraz, a player who desperately needs time. Wish his shot in the first half went in....would have been just what he needed.
Coleman looked to be back on form, but the conditions didn't help his running onto the diagonals.
Barry......he was average.
Barkley grew a little but showed very little apart from 15 mins in second half.
McCarthy, give the lad a blank cheque and keep him from being looked at by other sides....class act.
Lukaku, that's more like it rom
Mirallas......who?
Ossie, he is a player many mock but his play has been missed.
Howard......time to go somewhere else son
Listing ten Players!
Watch out Arouna, the RS will be on your case for adopting "Got Better`s" favoured way of composing his Articles.
I listed my views on players performaces last night
Glad to see you have not lost the ability to count, feel free to give your opinions on the full 11 who started.
Good job I am sitting down, can't believe I actually agree with the entity that is Arouna.
I think that poor opening 30mins and conceding the away goal is going to cost us, we deserved the win in the end but I don't think 2-1 is enough.
We may score out there, but a 1-0 win? I doubt it, I can't see us scoring 2+ goals out there either.
But, you never know.......
Edit: I know a 1-1 draw will surfice, that's the best we can hope for methinks.
