Giroud > Costa confirmed now
We were creating the chances, never any worry that we'd score eventually.
I fücking love Özil.

Inb4 "Grioud > Costa" from the most fickle fans in world football
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's scored 3 goals less and was injured for 3/4 months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet 1 and a half weeks ago he was an expensive lamp post
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Expensive? He cost 12 mill you fool. Stop talking out of your ar%%e

Been outstanding today, and very good in pretty much every match since his return.
Had a feeling we'd score late in the half. Nice time to score.
So important goal before HT. Well done Olivier

Didn't Ross McCormack cost more lol
Who did Giroud take the ball off of to score??
was it Walcott??
Did you see him put his hands up as if to say "Why you taking the ball of me"
And then Giroud scored..
I hope Walcott remembers this match when the new contract offer lands on his table.
Ozil has a style that is not pleasing to the eye of those who love cannibal football. To real football fans he's brilliant.

It's his intelligence. He knows how to push and pull players, both on our team and the opposition. It's a nigh on invisible contribution, but there's a reason we create so many chances with him.
Just saw the replay of this goal. Beautiful built up involved Özil and Giroud. Simply stunning goal
People need to lay off Walcott. This match is just another step along in his rehabilitation from serious injury.
He needs match fitness and we need patience.

Ozil has been the best player today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has vastly improved since his gym workouts during his injury. He is much more physical rather than the mosquito he had been since arriving.
Ramsey has been very good too. If he doesn't become obsessed with scoring today, he'll probably score.
On the replay, that was an intentional pass from Theo to Giroud, although Theo was expecting it back from him out wide
Mertasacker is also having a good game today.

he is playing much much better.
I've been a massive critic of him, but he is using the ball well and not turning it over at the first sign of trouble.
6 points off the top of we win and southampton beat chelsea. Plus we still have to play chelsea! It's back on!!
Hope we can get a 2nd and keep a clean sheet. There have been a few games in the past month where we have gone 2-0 up and conceded a goal and it's been a nervy ending.
