Lewis is set to shatter all records in the history books. Payback time for all those years under Whitmarsh's reign of terror!
You mean the same reign of terror that saw 18 grand prix wins, around 50 trips to the podium and points scored in pretty much every single race leading to consistent 2nd place finishes in the WCC behind the stupidly quick Red Bull team?
Yep. Dark days indeed.
The situation is downright desperate at McLaren, everywhere I read fans are congratulating the team for having finished the race with one car, mind you that was the only car to finish the race without scoring. Goodness, standards have really dropped at McLaren!
David Coulthard was over the moon that our beloved Jenson Button was defending against a dead last Force India
I hear next season Terminator could be headed for McLaren, imagine the pitstops he would get, sub 2sec. No one wants to incur the wrath of the Terminator!
You have no concept of relativity, do you?
Throughout the whole of winter testing, McLaren only ever managed to string 12 consecutive laps together.
To then do 56 laps, albeit on an engine that had been turned down, is a pretty big deal.
This car has serious potential but the reliability of the power unit is massively holding it back.

You are sounding just like Whitmarsh, he has been unlocking the car's potential ever since. The lies that McLaren are now feeding you guys and the way you are lapping them u is unbelievable.
Did McLaren not say their problems in testing were minor and would be sorted. Did Ron Dennis last year not say the same thing about improving the car by a second.
When are you the gullible going to start thinking on your own and stop reading the McLaren press releases.?
McLaren is finished, their heydays are over, thanks to none other than (drum roll please). They will never win another World Title for the next 20 years. That's right you heard that from me!
What does Whitmarsh have to do with the current Mclaren team?

What does Whitmarsh have to do with the current Mclaren team?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everything, he orchestrated this Honda deal. 2012 he never really cared about the reliability of Lewis's car, he never made a single statement about improving Lewis' pitstops and instead defended his mechanics telling those who cared to listen, that these guys were not being paid to do pitstops. His man love for Button was just unbelievable.
Midway through the season Button was mixing it up with the Cartehams while Lewis was winning races, instead of further improving the car, Whitmarsh did a Toto Wolff, summoned all his engineers to look into Button's problems instead of improving the car. That is the straw that broke the camel's back and Lewis started negotiating with other teams. Lewis did not leave McLaren because of some fallout with Ron Dennis or petty arguments over who gets to keep the trophies. His main team principle was jus infatuated with the second rate driver. Why Lewis is not even saying anything bad about this guy nor about Button, he lives by the street creed: NO SNITCHING!
Right after Lewis left, McLaren failed to score a podium finish for the whole season, in fact they have never won a single ever since Lewis' departure! Whitmarsh came up with some revolutionary concepts to try to suit Button's lethargic driving style and he fell flat on his face!
This should serve as a lesson to Toto Wolff, who seems now to have gotten the message.
On another subject, Alonso's presence in any team is plain poisonous. He is going to divide that team into Alonso and the rest, that is why now that he has left Ferrari, they are able to work as a team and their spirits are up. Alonso only knows cheating (Renault), blackmail (McLaren) and deception (Ferrari). They say lightning never strike twice but with Ron Dennis going truly senile it does, this man cost him 100 million dollars and he is bringing him back to finish them off.
On the fantasy that Alonso is the best driver in F1, where were these ignorant observers in 2008, when a rookie by the name of Lewis Hamilton wiped the floor with Alonso. Leading to our beloved matador demanding number one status, in effect asking for protection from the charging bull called Lewis Hamilton.
What I have observed which is ironical, is that soccer is a simple sport with very knowledgeable fans and Formula 1 is a sophisticated sport with very downright ignorant fans!
I know TRUTH HURTS deal with it!
It absolutely does.
You seem to spend your life running away from it and cowering behind your deranged conspiracy theories.
TallandClueless what nonsense are you on about? I am running away from the fact that I told you McLaren will fall and that Button will never win another race again.
I told you specifically before that Whitmarsh will be fired and it happened.
I told you that Ferrari will eventually get tired of Alonso and his deception and it has happened.
I am telling you now that McLaren will never win another World title in our lifetimes!
The only person doing any running here is Lewis Hamiton, he is running away with the title! Deal with that!

NO SNITCHING
Like after he came out and said Rosberg had admitted to deliberately hitting him, or tweeting screenshots of classified information.
I am a big Lewis fan, but take your blinkers off Truthhurts
TH
The deal with Honda was not MW's doing by the way.
It was Jonathan Neale who was the instigator and driving force behind the deal.
But don't let facts get in the way of a good anti MW,Mclaren, JB, FA, FIA, Mercedes, Rosberg, TW article.........
GC - TH has no blinkers on, he is a forum moron. We got rid of the last. This guy is on here to WUM
I cannot understand the mind of a person who believes it necessary to absolutely glorify Lewis Hamilton after every single race. To a small community of F1 fans. What possible self enjoyment can someone attain from that. Mystery to me!
I havent seen the race yet, anybody writing up a decent assesment of the weekend at large? Apart from Mercedes, i expect the battle for second is going to be very exciting!
