At the game I didn;t think there was too much in it but when I got home I watched it back and the better team won. We missed a few good chances in the first half. Utd had the first one though, the ball just not coming down quick enough for Rankin.

Cerzniak save on to the post was class, as was the one he tipped round from a Commons shot near the end of the half.

Butcher I think is a good player, a nuisance and he's got a great engine on him

Hears last night Utd haven't beat Celtic in Glasgow in the last 49 attempts. 38 defeats and 11 draws. Wednesday I feel will be a very tricky tie for us, we are missing some key players, think it will be an extra time effort.

Certainly wasn't one that will stick in the mind yesterday but it was all about winning the cup I guess. The noise when the goals went in was class.

GB's display was brilliant too.

Frank's Law lovely to see and hear.

Couldn't believe the Dillon situation
Once he needed to hobble off, he should have been substituted in my opinion. Think you were down to 10 men for about 10 minutes while he was getting stitched up. The sending off was, like you said, deserving. He knew it straight away as well. Really killed the game I feel.

Was delighted to see your striker get taken off in the second half Not sure what his name was, but he caused our two CB's a few problems I thought.

Your best chances I feel should have come off set pieces once down to 10 men. You had a good few of them as well. Unfortunately for you guys. the delivery was very poor far too often.

All that aside, should be interesting with what happens on Wednesday

I didn't really understand the Dillon situation, why have someone off for that length of time? it seems there was a lack of communication.

One thing I would say is John Rankin has stole a football career

Zico - not saying it wasn't a yellow card mate, just that I thought there was a couple of yellow card offences before it, particularly one where Dow wriggled away from Brown and Izzaguire and then was chopped down.

Keny - you see those kind of tackles all the time when a guy takes a bad touch then lunges to try to retrieve it. A red but no real intent to hurt - just a stupid recovery tackle.

See when the tackle happened in real time I actually put my head in my hands, I thought Izzy's foot was a goner, I can still hear the crunch

Dillon is an honest professional though, he knew straight away he was in the wrong but no intent whatsoever

see when he was hobbling off to get stitched up though I said to my dad about the difference with a player like that and a player like Ronaldo.

See when it happened, I was muttering to myself "just give him a yellow, just give him a yellow" but I knew straight away it was red.

It was difficult to see a way back after that but as soon as they second went it in it was over.

I thought our fans were magnificent in those last ten minutes though. Really proud of that.

Your display was pretty impressive as well

Have you seen Commons goal again? see when he slides to celebrate, there is a United fan in the background spitting blood and I think he throws one of the scrunched up bits of card from the display

I thought both displays were very good.

The atmosphere in the Celtic end was actually much better than it was for the semi final against rangers

It was the most I've ever heard Celtic fans sing in a cup final.

Normally when we've played we easily out sing you, but I thought it was a good atmosphere created by both fans.

The huddle always looks impressive. I prefer just standing watching it rather than taking part

We were in the Kings Park Hotel (think that's what it was called anyway). A bit shíte but had a couple of points so it did its job.

We've no left backs for Wednesday night. Dixon and Dillon are both suspended.

At least all our attackers will be freshed since Jackie didn't play any at the weekend.
