I don't think either fighter will necessarily become any greater just because they beat an aged version of each other.

I think we can be very happy that these two finally fight but saying that the winner will suddenly become a top ten all time great just because of that win is really stretching things.

He becomes top 5 p4p because he's been at the top 17 years........and will have beaten six top 10 p4pers in that time......

And my point still stands that both fighters are now in their late thirties so to say that either of them suddenly becomes a top ten all time great purely off that one victory is just stretching things.

That's not what this fight is about. We all know that this fight is happening too late and when people say things like what you're saying it just detracts from the fact that we've finally got these two in the ring and we should just appreciate it for what it is.

I think Floyd will win the fight by being very clever, ie clinching when needed, using his superior reach to help keep Manny at bay and also by nicking rounds being the busiest in the last 30 seconds of each round.

But under no circumstances does he KO Manny. People make way too much of that KO by Marquez. It happens in boxing.
