True, but in previous years we always had to go back (selling) before we could go forward. Surely you can concede that things are different now?
What Giroud brings to team is better link up and hold up play than any of those strikers you have mentioned, and the man is scoring goals for us too, what more can he do.
I have a feeling that if we got Agureo or someone of his ilk, you'd still be looking for another striker anyway.
What makes those players that you mentioned world class?
Their goals, assists, shooting, passing, speed, technical levels?

He accepts only striker with pace as it seems. I agree with you on OG's link-up play and hold-up play though. It's not a coincidence that he was heavily involved in two of the best team goals in PL history.

What OG brings to our team is very underated, he may not be the best individual player compared to others but i do think for our TEAM, OG fit's in very well, we could get a world class player but if that player can't play with Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey,Santi etc, then it's pointless and less productive for the team in the end.

Suarez/Higuain aren't necessarily fast. One is a world class footballer the other a world class finisher at least.
Even Rooney isn't fast but can stretch defences, as could a prime RVP. Pace is the wrong word, mobility is what you're looking for, it's what our creative players need the majority of the time
Also don't get Giroud's famed link-up play, it's amazing when it comes off absolute joy to watch but there are MANY occasions where he's hopeless in possession and can barely find a man 5 yards away, constantly falls over and ultimately barely looks like a footballer at times.
Giroud's all round game is NOT world class also this season is his peak the best he can do is maintain this level he won't improve and unfortunately this level isn't enough for our aspirations, he's solid backup or partner striker imo
If we didn't have so many No. 10's I'd be fine with Alexis & Giroud partnership but we play with 1 CF therefore I think we need one who's complete.

Giroud' all round game is exactly what we all should appreciate most. It's his best ability he developed at Arsenal.

It's like how people rank Ronaldo over Messi when he's on more goals but when you watch the full game there's absolutely no doubt Messi is superior.
I don't rate Costa as world class but he's a killer and suits Jose style perfectly.
Falcao's had it tough at United I really think we wouldn't be referring to him as a flop if he came here in front our midfield CF's can't be in rotation they need a solid run in the team he hasn't had that and United haven't been creative until recently.
Having said that I wouldn't go for him due to financial reasons.
And yes mobility is key in football. Giroud can score goals but rarely is he a handful for defenders over 90 mins even on his day it's still arguable whether he's worthy of motm saturday you could argue about Gabriel being deserving or Ospina. Maybe he was but he's never head & shoulders above the rest.
We need a CF that can rip the opposition to threads throughout the whole game. Only thing Giroud has improved is his goalscoring not his whole game and if you follow every Arsenal game on weekly basis throughout the whole 90 it's always evident that we could still do that bit better in this department.
I have no problem with Giroud at the club but not convinced as the long term main striker. Unless we really nurture Akpom more next season and afford him the same game time Sanogo had I have high hopes for the kid.

NO-ONE, bar Messi and Ronaldo, tear up a whole team by themselves for 90 ins on a consistant basis.

Giroud in the league - 14 games 13 goals
So for you only Aguero/Suarez is better than Giroud?

Spurs this season. 2nd half against Bayern... that's enough against a side of that quality for me. Many times I've seen Aguero absolutely tear sides apart.

It's because I dont fell for the media hype of other strikers who are completely different to any striker in the PL?
When he came to Arsenal I felt he could be our type of Drogba to be honest. I was completely wrong. He is not anywhere near Drogba. He developed his own style to adapt to our very own Arsenal style. And yes I appreciate it.
To your video? Why do you make a Giroud video when you cant stand him? To be honest I think against Newcastle it wasnt his best of games. In the second half he was hardly involved.
Giroud played a blinder at City and against Spurs the season before. He also is unplayable on his day. He is just not a dribbler who can outplay a whole defense.
