OK, so after the weekend fixtures

whoever has the points in hand is favourites for their current position IMO

But there are so many big matches and head to heads coming up that it could end with some crazy place swapping in a matter of weeks.

LVG, after 8 months of trial and error seems to have found a best 11 that works for him, and so I wouldn't be surprised if they won the majority of their games, which means curtains for us.

Lads stop even thinking about top 4 and admit at the moment we are simply not good enough for it

I agree Grandspur we got no chance mate. Even if by miracle we win every single one of our remaining games that still might not be enough as we are now so far behind and we have to rely on to many teams dropping points. Yes we have the advantage of an easier fixture list and other top 4 challengers playing eachother but we as a club never take advantage of any situation we are dealt with so I see no different this season either. Knowing Spurs we will claw back the points and suddenly find ourselves in with a chance of making the top 4 only to f. Uck it up against Hull. That's Spurs for you and we won't make the top 4. Our defence are an utter shambles

Even more worrying would be if we did make the top 4

Can you imagine being away to Real Madrid with our defence?

Kyle " I have no Brain" Walker up against Ronaldo for me Kyle walker has to go. Massive weak link he is and I won't be happy if he is still starting next season. Danny Rose I can admit has been a lot better this season but he still don't do it for me. He is still prone to comical errors. The less said about our centre backs the better. Both have no idea how to play as a unit together and Fazio is no better.

I doubt many Spurs fans thought we'd be close to top
4 at start of season anyway.

We started the season with a bog average squad and was lucky Kane come in and got the goals he has as no chance would the rest of team manage to score that amount between them.

We now have a good core of players that hopefully we can build on for next season.

I Like how Poch has said there will be no preseason abroad this summer so he can get the players in top shape for next season.

Hengy, the defence needs massive work. Poch sorts this out in the summer then we will have an excellent side. At the moment our defence is one of the worse in the league and that's not on

Even with a good defence we are still not near a excellent side IMO

We need a better CM than Mason and better wingers than the ones we've got!

We currently have a team that when everything clicks it can be good but we need to keep building and that will take time!

There is no doubt that Poch will be/is working hard with the defence but they need better protection in front

Whilst I agree top, four is unlikely, I have to say I have never seen so many negative posts. I doubt Liverpool and Southampton posters are throwing in the towel as quickly as some of you lot are.

Just get behind the team and start supporting them, you never know they may yet surprise us all.

And all this nonsense about if Spurs had to play Real or Barca, don't exactly seem any other English clubs taking them on and beating them, so what would be the difference if Spurs were to play them and lose?

Sandy

Exactly it wasn't what we expected at the beginning certainly not me so I am happy we are still in with a chance ( slim ) but it won't upset me if we don't ( again ) get it.

Sizzle

I sometimes think I am fighting a losing battle trying to get Spurs supporters to actually support the club.

I moan a lot during matches, but it is soon forgotten if Spurs win, that is the way it is with me. I want to see a winning Spurs team, not a team that dominate from start to finish playing scintillating football, and lose the game.

Not throwing in the towel. Just being realistic. We have had stronger squads and played better and failed in the past.
Will always support the team and hope for the best but in reality am expecting the worst.

sandy, come on mate. Surely even you know that Spurs will somewhere along the way f uck it up even if we do claw back a decent points tally. You know for a fact that we could potentially get back to near the top 4 and then lose to Hull at home. That's spurs for you and we all know this is bound to happen. I just don't have any faith in Tottenham as a football club mate maybe you do as a guy over 60 but I'm 29 so have mostly seen disappointment after disappointment with spurs

Yes I know mate that Spurs will always find a way of fecking up, but I live in hope that just every now and again they will come good when it matters, unlike those keents from up the road, who could fall in a bucket of Shiite and still manage to come out smelling of roses.

Sandy Arsrnal could field a youth side and still somehow would get a slice of luck and finish in the top 4. They are a lucky club whilst Spurs are not.
