Yes but Henderson running is worth the comedy value.

While I'm yet to be convinced he has the quality to become a permanent feature for England it does at least show that good form can be rewarded with a call up over just being one of the regular names, sends out the right message. That said I'd rather we don't go through one of those cycles where 40 different players get a cap each as we constantly rotate, there needs to be a balance.

Think of it this way - if he were Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Italian or even Belgian, would he get anywhere near their international squads!

I really don't rate him, he has little to no technique and any time he's under any sort of pressure in an advanced area he panics and will shoot into row z or mess up a simple chance. The guy was playing league 1 football 12 months ago.
