Can see Kane replacing Messi at Barca in a year or two
Doesn't Bale earn £15m a year at Madrid?
With the high rate of tax footballers pay In England compared to Spain, Spurs would have to pay him £25-30m a year for in order for him to have the same net pay. Can Spurs afford that on one player? Me thinks not

The so called Beckham law was abolished a few years ago, the top earners in Spain supposedly pay more tax than over here now.

Besides he wears a fecking Alice band now, do we really want to encourage that kind of behaviour at Spurs??!!!

Bale can wear a tutu for all I care as long as he is running down our wing putting in the crosses to Kane.

This is wrong.
In Spain the top rate of tax is something like 52%.
In UK its now 45%
So Bales £300k a week = is worth about £20k a week more here than Spain = £1m a year.
His gross weekly wage in UK would have to be £262k a week here before his take home reduces below current levels.

Is that all

Apparently so.
Anyway, he would be operating a one man ltd company arrangement in the UK (as most do) . Throw in some tax "management consultants" and your local bin man will be paying more tax than him.
Anyway who should Bale get the same money he was on at Madrid, if he left he should be taking a pay cut not a massive one but still a pay cut. He would no longer be playing for the biggest club in the world where ever he went.
We can afford Bales' Madrid wages, if Madrid accept La Marca current market valuation of Bale.
Complete and utter sharticle.
