Toure or Lovren?

Most individual errors from any defender until he was dropped indefinitely.

Oh bloody hell. It's a collective. Singling out Lovren is mind numbing and daft.

He didn't choose his price tag and attribute wise he has the lot.

I've a sneaky feeling he'll turn out to be a very good defender indeed.

Lots of players have disappointing first seasons... even ones who didn't turn out to be successes like Downing improved in their second season.

One that usually comes to mind for me is Nasri, widely criticised in his first season become one of their better players in the seasons since.

This thread is about kolo and Lovren. I choose kolo coz i yes me. i blame him more than anyone for our poor start. im not saying he won't come good but hes been ridiculously bad especially during our cràppy start which now looks like will prove costly in our race for top 4. Im not for one minute saying it was all down to him

Lovren. If not him, bite the bullet and throw in one of the youths. Kolo is a very good player, but he doesn't inspire confidence.

Oh it's just that when you wrote "Lovren has been the single main culprit regarding us possibly not getting top 4." I thought that you were. Sorry about that.

Main culprit if i was to blame one person

posted on 25/3/15

Which you did.

in other words hes shìt and would choose kolo. Hope that clears it up

Yep bang on. You're considerate and I like that.

posted on 25/3/15

You would play Lovren then robbing? knowing full well any ffùck ups probably will mean the end of him with us. if we don't beat blackburn or get top 4 head will roll lol

posted on 25/3/15

Yeah I would personally. In fact I would be very surprised if he didn't start while Skrtel is banned.

ok cool long time to wait now bloody internationals!👹

posted on 25/3/15

I honestly don't think I've been less enthusiastic about an international round of fixtures in my life.

Bloody nuisance thats the only way to describe them. if it weren't for the cricket id probably slit my wrists

I didn't even realise this was coming

I actually thought we were playing Villa tonight (well I did a few days ago)

At least this is the last one this season I guess.

We usually are playing well before internationals. I think this break could be good for the squad. I just hope we don't pick up any injuries.

It's ridiculous because it's ridiculous.

No individual player is responsible for us not getting top 4 (assuming we don't).

He has been poor, nobody would claim otherwise.

You have put two and two together and come up with idiocy.

Ah just realised its Ilori.

Its not idiocy at all. i think ive explained my views very well. Hes our worst player of the season and if there was an award he would win. So if you analyse our start he would be right at the top for reasons we under performed - Do i need to make this any clearer or can you point to any other single factors. ie system Balotelli etc I get there are other factors but imo he was the major 1

posted on 26/3/15

There is no single major factor.

That's the idiotic part.

posted on 26/3/15

Oh well i think its idiotic to say he wasnt one of the main reasons we were so bad. Some people say he was a factor i think he was the major 1. it affected the whole defence and especially Mig. No coincidence his return to form was with Lovren out of the team. Its all about opinions i just disagee with you

It was actually a complete coincidence.

Mignolet was in poor form before Lovren even arrived, relative to how he has played in the last 3 months.

It is about opinions, I can't disagree with that.

Your opinions are routinely ludicrous though, and this is just another example.

I never blame new players coming into a poor side playing without confidence with the crowd on their back.

I actually blame the formation we played at the start of the season. We played 1 up front and defended deep and we can't defend with Gerrard sat in front of the defence. We just encouraged teams to attack our exposed defence.
