Well what are the chances of us winning the cup again

So a early exit means we can concentrate on Europa League if we get into the last 32 thats some achievement.

As i think we dont have a big enough sqaud to get Promoted this year, but another year will come where as can we say we would ever be in Europe again over the next 50 years

Hopefully Citeh play their kids but their also rans are quite impressive.
Maybe they will underestimate us and we have the element of surprise.

I would take leaving the cup, in return for us to get out of the Europa Group Stages still

We have a bare thin sqaud, and i do fear that Jerome, Dann and Ridgewell will all depart even if on loan and we could get lumbered with Zigic who may have no interest in playing for our club.

As Zigic has a reported 7-8 clubs after him, yet no signs of any movement i am sure they are after him but he still has £7.5-10M contract at Blues and i guess no club would want to match that.

As long as we have a crack at Man City, but the season is long we have a thin sqaud if we lose Dann, Jerome and Ridgewell it will be even more thinner and then we may only sign players that no one esle wants.

Either because they are not good, they are crocks or they have attitude problems and nothing but trouble.

I'm with Banjokid. Win the Europa Cup.
I'm with Just Taity. Beat Man City and then retain the CC.
I'm with Hughton. Promotion is a must.
Keep all options open, that's what I say. One definite thing, the sun has just come out in Margate. I'm off for a paddle.

did anyone hear the "we dont care about larsson" chant what was it?

RBC... you forgot one option... relegation!
If Banjo is right and we get rid of Jerome, Dann, Ridgewell and replace them with other clubs cast offs then that could be a real problem.
Lets hope it doesnt happen

Singing about Carson not Larsson.

We don't care about Carson, he don't care about us, all we care about is bcfc.

Taking a pessimistic look at things:
At least if we go out at the first hurdle it will be against what is now perceived as a big club, even if they do/did play their squad players rather than first-teamers.
I would hate to go out against a small club, who hasn't won anything in ages...like Wolves

Hopefully we wont lose them all but we have to look the position of the club.

The club may still need money and Jerome, Dann and Ridgewell may well be more sellable than Zigic, maybe we would only have to sell 1-2 but with Zigics wages eating at the wage bill could mean we may have to sell another just to cover his wages.

I would like us to do well in all cups but reality of it is, we will not Win the League Cup again not 2 seasons on the bounce, not with the quality we lack and strength in debth we have a thin side.

We can always have a crack at the League and FA cups again in the future even if we are in League 2

Chances are somewhere down the line we would be in the Prem again even if thats 10, 20 years time.

But we may never ever see Blues in Europe again in any of our lifetimes, and so we have to take the oppuntinity we have now.

Thats what upset me the most about Gardner leaving, as surely every football player would want to play in Europe, and chances are Sunderland may not Win a Cup or get 5-6th while Gardner is there.

At Blues he was garunteed European Football, and if Blues was his beloved team when he retires maybe he would regret that he could have played a big part and regular part in Blues Europa League Challenge a memory that money can not buy.

Then if we exit the Europa League there is the January Window for him to then get his Prem Career back

Then again we dont know the full story and maybe even if players wanted to stay maybe they will be shown the door.

And thats the case i feel and why Dann is not playing because if he gets injuried then no club would want to buy him
