Represented in our jury are over 9000 grand prix starts and 270 wins. As well as including current world champion Jenson Button's vote, our jury includes an astonishing cross-section of opinion.
This includes the earliest surviving world championship grand prix winner, Jose Froilan Gonzalez, the most successful driver of all time, Michael Schumacher, the oldest living driver, Paul Pietsch, and F1's first child of the 1990s, Jaime Alguersuari".
Thank gawd I know more than them.
I have already pointed out several times that the Autosport christmas stocking filler poll mostly consisted of drivers that never managed to qualify for a formula one race and many more that never managed to actually finish one.
Nobody that has a serious interest in F1 would suggest that Senna was better than any of the following drivers.
Alain Prost
Alberto Ascari
David Purley
Denny Hulme
Emerson Fittipaldi
Graham Hill
Jack Brabham
Jackie Stewart
Jim Clark
Jochen Rindt
John Surtees
Juan Manuel Fangio
Michael Schumacher
Mika Hakkinen
Mike Hailwood
Niki Lauda
Phil Hill
" Nobody that has a serious interest in F1 would suggest that Senna was better than any of the following drivers".
So Schumacher knows nothing about F1?

A universe where Vettel is a below average f1 driver.
You're beginning to sound like that daft muppet Martial Artist. Due to his exceptionally embarrassing poor grasp of English, basic arithmetic and F1 he actually believed that all 217 drivers voted Senna, and no other driver, number 1. When the 217 chose 10 great drivers they probably included themselves.
What proof do you have that Michael Schumacher actually voted for Senna at all?
There have been more than 10 great drivers in the history of F1 hence why autosport only published the names of 40 of the top 10 drivers voted for.
The pair of you know nothing about the subject you are mouthing off about. Less even than the drivers that failed to qualify for one single F1 race and those others that failed to finish one. You have never even looked up the names of the 217 drivers , most of which you have never even heard of, except of course for that internationally famous F1 star Tiff Needell.

No! According to the above, Seb couldn't drive a Taxi in there world. Senna would be a bus driver and David would be F1 WDC..................
Greatness can not be measured by votes scored in a poll that included Tiff Needell.
Your F1 lack of knowledge is a disgrace. David Purley was awarded the George Medal for bravery and is widely admired by those that actually know something about F1. Not you muppets of course.
So you know more than these folks????
