He is still taking his wage. Right up there with the worst of the zpivs in regards to how much he's taken out us the last few years.
But he's gone now, and seeing the job McCall has done in a short period of time just makes me wonder how we could have performed this year if we had a competent manager in from the get go.
Plus it is nice to see players who I'd have got rid of in the summer decide to turn up once again, especially Law and Wallace.

The legalities of the contract aren't in question though, it was always whether his coaching ability merited his contract.
So basically he is taking his money which he is entitled to but not deserving of.
Hope that clears it up for you

I'm under the impression he was on a rolling contract which should run out in the summer, is this correct?

My understanding is that he had a 1 year rolling contract which means every day he woke up he had a contract for 1 year. So this expires in December. Legally he's entitled to the wedge .....morally !!?

Exactly. Seems that there are some who can't make the distinction...
Iv got to laugh at the media going on about wee jackies contract, "it's poor that this is in the public domain " is it only one manager that his wages are in the public domain, jackie has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, live with it
Out of order Laudrup ! Its a normal part of football these days for the manager to get a % of the sale price of a player. But, you've got question the logic in this type of contract ,this must influence decisions , why would McNamara want to keep these players when he gets paid if they go ? Surely he could have said that he wanted them to stay til the end of the season ? But with the $ signs in his eyes he took the money and they've been royally humped since.
It's the new manager 3 week euphoria. Give it till the next game and your world will be in tatters once more.
