Most players, regardless of where they are born, would move to barca or real if they came knocking. It's the pinnacle of club football.

And no, Bellerin is not better or on par with debuchy defensively. Debuchy is currently twice the player of Bellerin, it's just Bellerin may look better at times due to his recovery speed.

Thats what you always get with foreign players I am afraid. They are already so used to moving countries that they don't lay down roots anywhere. So they are ready to move as soon as someone offers to improve their wages even a little bit.

Terrible comment. Also has nothing to do with the OP, in which a player would potentially be returning to a club he's associated with for the majority of his life. He probably wouldn't even improve his wages there.

I don't know how anybody could be shocked/disappointed that Bellerin may one day return to Barca. Lets just hope we get some good years out of him.

What a weird article and even stranger responses

If barca or real came for any of your players or any other prem teams players they'd all leave without second thought

Why blame this kid for being part of the group called 'everyone who is sane'

Fabregas could have left earlier but stayed 3 or 4 more years, but after losing all the invincibles in a few years selling so many other players I'm kind of numb to anyone leaving now, players always leave and get replaced.

The growing Spanish contingent at the club should help stave off any homesickness Hector would have. In the short term at least.
Sanchez also seems to have settled down quite well.

OP

Your stance is ridiculous. Most English players don't stay at one club from the age of 20 and the vast majority of them don't get to move to Barca. But you expect Bellerin to stay at Arsenal until he retires even if given the opportunity to play for a more famous club than ours.

Jenius

I'm shocked and disappointed. You generally talk sense, I'd never have expected the sorts of dim small minded comments you've made...

Are you really Jenius' little brother or son, who's nicked his laptop??

Big Willy-Sanchez
Wenger should man up and tell him we ain't selling u to them now get on with your game or rot in the reserves until your contract is up.

Wouldn't a better idea be to tell him that if he can work hard and develop playing for us, to the point that Barca want him for their 1st 11. Then we'll be more than happy to let him go as long as they pay up.

Then make sure he always has a minimum of two years on his contract. The idea isn't to block the move if it's one Bellerin will want, we'll lose that battle. So we go with the move but make sure we get paid.
