While Kondogbia is valued at just over £10m.

For that money you can only have his left bawl.

What the hell is wrong with Sakho???????

And I really don't get the problem with Milner. He's a very very good player, available for free. Ings is more of a gamble, but free (ish) and certainly an improvement on Borini and Lambert.

Who values Kondogbia at just over £10m ?? Certainly not Monaco.

As for the other two, it would be Liverpool making the same mistakes again.

look i would settle for sainsburys lads and I think milner would be classed as a sainburys purchase

Ings would be tesco's for me although with sainburys potential

Geoffrey Kondogbia, well I'm not too sure

Geoffrey Kondogbia- after some brief research looks like an M&S buy

Spot on.

Liverpool need to step up and should really rethink their recuitments this season. Moreno? Awful. Balotelli....no need to talk about him. He destabilize your team.

With all due respect I think again Liverpool will struggle to sign the likes of Kondogbia as there will probably be a number of clubs ahead of Liverpool who can offer a more attractive salary and a better playing situation. Milner would be decent signing and Ings will pad out the squad but again there will be a lack of proven quality which will keep Liverpool out of elite within the league.

Sakho was £18m for a very young defender, what are you on about?

With no Suarez money to come in this season and ground expansion taking place they'll more than likely be outspent by all the sides currently above them.

More than likely yes.

We have a lot of young players who can get better though.

Spending money is no guarantee of improvement.

Milner and Ings have been linked for a while and if this is what are looking for this summer I'd be very worried.

Watching your lot on Saturday I actually felt you badly need a central midfielder more than we do. Nothing wrong with Lucas, but he shouldn't be first pick, he should be a good experienced replacement like Arteta is for us.

I rate Can and he can certainly be that guy but your struggles defensively mean that Rodgers is forced to shore your defence.

I actually think Moreno is a gifted attacking full back. Has made some high profile mistakes but will learn and get better. What you desperately need is a good defensive right back. Someone who will allow you to defend better and have more balance. Where you will get him, I have no idea.

Once you get a good right back then you can go back to 4 at the back. Milner would be an excellent signing. Imagine Milner and can say in front of the defence with the likes of Hendo and Coutinho further forward and Sterling and Sturridge up front.

That is potentially a good side that could challenge for the league with adequate back up.

What will kill you though is Europa! Everton fans must be relieved they don't have to worry about that.

We need to realise last season was a blip, it was an exception and we failed to properly supplement a 2nd place team that seriously over achieved last season. I don't believe that other than winning the Europa, we have have any chance of finishing top 4 next season.

For a defensive right back ️maybe you should consider bidding for Sagna.

Sakho and Skrtel as CB pairing have the potential to be good. Might struggle in possession but excell at most things.

Getting a striker is the difficult but, I'm sure you will manage.

I still think you can sign decent players to match your ambitions and playing style.

What will damage you is europa unless you play a second string in it but it doesn't only affect players, it has a detrimental effect on the managers preparations for the weekend games.

Europa will likely hit our top 4 chances, there is no getting away from it.

With that in mind I would like to see us take it a lot more seriously.

If we are accepting that it's unlikely we will be able to finish in the top 4 with Thurs-Sun football then we may as well go all out to win the thing and use the PL to give the younger players experience instead.

B10, as for the right back, we have Flanagan who hasn't played all season. He showed last year that he has the quality. It's a case of whether he can return to that level.

We need an experienced alternative though with Johnson going.

And you are spot on about centre mid. I would love Cabaye personally. Would bring experience, goal threat, and he kicks people when required.

The challenge and a solution nicely summed up:

It looks like we aren't going to finish top 4 and attracting top players will be difficult.Lambert,Borini,Balotelli should be sold along with the free transfers of Toure,Johnson.Sell sterling if he expects unreasonable wages (Being badly advised imo) and get the hendo contract sorted. We need two more strikers on top of origi, one of whom we need to spend big money on.A creative midfielder is a must not sure about pjanic from what ive seen of him and a good right back.I'm hoping ibe along with another u21 player will progress into the first team squad on a regular basis. We might be back in for konoplyanka depending on how the sterling saga goes.

I think Milner will be a good, safe choice in the midfield. We can rely upon him to do a shift and yet add a little extra. He'll also be an English model professional for the youth at Melwood to look up to.

Bring him over BR.

Please god no milner who is he an improvement on? who does he replace? we need to stop buying the same again, and buy players that IMPROVE us.

We need to get to a situation where our transfer budget goes on one great player each season, as much as i believe arsenal overpaid for Ozil, him last year, and sanchez this year give them a great base, who will they buy next year? who knows but they will probably have three players who are very close to the world class bracket

Then we can spend money from player sales on squad improvement i.e. Ings, decent player, decent price, and seemingly an upgrade on borini

last summer was a necessity, we needed to bring the squad up to size after no europe,

going forward every signing needs to be an improvement

Maybe he'll be brought in as a proper mentor to Jordan Henderson, and will show young Jordan how to win a Premier League title.

Seen as though his previous mentor couldn't show him that.
