Silly comments above, hope he's well and it's not too serious

Didn't see it so my comment was off the cuff.

Was it actually serious ?? If that's the case I'm sorry for silly comment.

Presumed it was a joke.

This is the latest

An update on that Dider Drogba injury from Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas: "He will have a full exam. He was completely unconscious. The doctor did a great job. He is showing progressive signs of recovery but we need a full exam which is being done. We hope for his wellbeing as a person first."

Captain, knocked unconscious, down for about 5 minutes without moving. Carried off after though I believe I heard somone say he did move his arms just before he was taken off.

Ok that's pretty bad, in which case I apologise for presuming he was just doing a Drogba.

Hope he's ok.

Hope he's OK, just saw the video, he's lucky he landed on his front because he was out cold in the air.

I know it was bad, haven't seen it but Drogba carries a rep for play acting so can't blame people for presuming he was injured after a blade of grass blew in his face.

Saying that I do hope he's ok, at the end of day as much as I dislike him for being a cheat he's a human and has a family.

Get well soon.

Difficult to sympathise with a player built like a tank but falls to the ground at the slightest contact. I've yet to see the incident but from what I've read here and post match reports he was knocked unconscious and was out cold for several minutes.

Rivalries aside like to wish Didier a speedy and full recovery.

Wish him a speedy recovery.

i think Drogba has reinvented himself from the diver he was several years back. Indeed, i generally like his good sportsmanship these days - i.e. fetching the ball and the like.

I too wish him a speedy recovery, and hope it is not as bad as first feared.
