Spot on Biggish.

Tomorrow is a crucial game. If we draw or worse lose then Arsenal and Utd will undoubtedly smell blood if they haven't already.

Nobody thinks we're playing well and those two will undoubtedly think we're there for the taking.

A win tomorrow would change everything and would probably break their spirit and hope that they can catch us.

Our last win there was back in 1996 with a last minute winner

Fackin ell didn't realise it was that bad.

I hate Loftus Road.

Why is this important
I'd rather smash Utd and Arsenal

It's up to the players to show that they have the real hunger and desire to win this title as so far this year they've looked very unconvincing.

As I said before tomorrow's game will be a war and probably the ugliest game you'll see all season.

I assume thats our last league win as we won there in the cup a few seasons ago

The R's treat this as a cup final, and ref's have had shockers recently when Chelsea played there.

Burnley and City could help us out too.

A draw would do me,but a win is nicer.

We all do.

The point is that they'll have their tales up if we draw or worse lose tomorrow and we don't want that we play them next.

Time for Remy to step up and take his chance.

Already has. Scored in the last two games and only started one of them.

True Superb, but this is his opportunity to make his mark, with Costa crocked.

Last time I was at Loftus Rd,Chelsea had more than half the ground filled........and Townsend was still playing.

Remy is one of our few players in any real form at the moment alongside Hazard.

Players who's form really worries me at the moment are Oscar and Fabregas and if we're going to be brutally honest Matic hasn't been in great form recently.

As a result we look weak in the middle and it's no coincidence that we've been struggling in games and grinding out games we would have won easily earlier in the season.

Agreed Superb, and Fab has looked weary, and out of sorts,as has Matic..............maybe too many games,so recent breaks may help them.
Oscar has faded, and may lack confidence now,but hope he gets the mojo again.
With Mikel and Ramires as midfield alternatives,it is a worry about our strength there, when the main men do not perform........thank heavens for our points advantage.

I actually think this season has been a poor premiership in most cases. I don't think we've been especially great this side of the new year.

I think Jose knows to win a back to back he's going to need to be smart in the market this summer.

Very average season,Noble, with no outstanding team,..............even us.

Champs league proves this.

Arsenal have been fantastic so far this year though. Maybe they actually deserve to win the title.

Our players by comparison have looked lethargic and happy to sleep walk towards the title.

Unless our players pick it up then it would be difficult to argue that we fully deserve this title.

City have been riddled with injuries this season so we have no excuses.

but we had no fans before 2003...

Frankie, I agree with what you're saying in principle, but if we finish with more points than the other 19 teams then we will have been the best over the whole 9 months.

Otherwise the season would just be from January to may

I'm sorry Superb but that is absolute crap. At our peak this season we have blown everyone out of the water, and before january people were saying this could be one of the best teams to win the league.

Yes our form has dropped off and Arsenal have played well in recent weeks but we played ourselves into the position where our less stellar performances in the new year have still left us with a potential 10 point gap. In no way can you say that at this point we don't deserve to win the league. That is not to say that if we do throw it away from here we would still deserve it as whoever is top after 38 games are deserving champions.

As an aside, I am pretty certain that in the last 10 games we have won 7 and drawn 3, hardly awful by any means.

That was last year. This year the only side blowing teams out of the water is Arsenal.

posted on 11/4/15

you're quite correct Frankie but we sill have 7 points n a game in hand over that team.

posted on 11/4/15

Arsenal have the exact same amount of points this season as they did last season at the same stage, They literally haven't improved at all, City have just been shocking and we have grew a set.

posted on 11/4/15

You're getting carried away with Arsenal. They were ropey as feck in a lot of their games

posted on 11/4/15

I just want to win the league now. I accept it may transpire we "were the best of a bad bunch" but you know what? I think Jose will get even hungrier in the summer.

How dare you give credit to Arsenal ! I never heard anything like it !
