Lol if you think you should be top 4 or challenging for the title. As Gary Neville said " delusional "
Dunno what you expect, all the clubs above you bar Saints have superior resources, and the current top 4 far superior. You are about where you should be, you aren't going to consistently challenge the current top 4 unless you have a sugar daddy or a couple of these teams have terrible seasons.
Spurs had their chance to become a consistent top 4 club 3-4 years back.

Pretty well agree with you. The season has ended prematurely again. I still thought they should have targeted both the FA Cup and Europa Cup over all this top four nonsense. Poch more or less threw away both cup competitions by fielding weakened teams. Absolute nonsense. Next season I want the prem to be put bottom of the pile. I would sooner see squad players in that, and field full strength in every cup game. It totally pissessss me off the way the prem is always given preference, and they have very little chance of top four anyway. Totally pointless.

Well seeing as Spurs have in fact finished top four in two of the last six years, hardly delusional. And of course Neville does not want any other teams to upset the top four cartel, so he would say that.

Bit like Arsenal in Europe then, never going to challenge the big boys.

No calls for Poch's head?
Hasn't he done an AVB?
Suprised Tottenham have done so well to be honest. Man Utd Everton Tottenham Liverpool all started the season badly after 10 games but Tottenham and Liverpool made a fist for top 4 and have still a slim chance of making it. Man utd have done well to have some breathing space but we all know how quickly things can change. Tottenham are a club that seem to finish the same points wise nearly every season in recent years. Arsenal are similar consistent. I think Chelsea 2012 CL win set Tottenham back 2 years.

When you had Gareth Bale. Honestly your team is shocking, compared to the top 4, player by player, you are miles off. If anything you've over achieved this season. I hate to think where you would of finished without Kane coming through.

No, our top 4 finish was not because of Bale. Gareth Bale came onto the scene properly when we were in the CL that year. We were superb in the CL and a lot better than Mamchester City's pathetic showing every year. Yes I agree we are not great but still have a crop of talent coming through and a good side for the future. But to say we shouldn't be challenging top 4 is b ulls. Hit considering we have challenged it every year
You are where you should be. 5th-7th.
You don't have the budget to consistently be higher than that. You might have the odd season where you finish higher, as you have done twice, but it won't be a regular occurrence because the top 5 outspend you on players and wages.
Whether the new Stadium increases revenues enough for you to compete more will determine if you can progress higher on a consistent basis, same as Liverpool with our new stand really.
Until then we are pretty much in the same boat. Buying mid-range young players who might become top drawer, and bringing academy players through, and having to sell best players now and again.

Totally agree with you buddy. We have no chance of top four until the stadium is built or we win the lottery like Chelsea and Man city have.
I want us to field our strongest line ups in all cup competitions next season and that includes Europa.
We have to take advantage that Chelsea, City, Arsenal and United dont take the cups to seriously.
Ive supported Spurs since 88 thats 27 years and we have won 3 cups in that time, thats abysmal.

Should have started in 1981 like me, then you could have added an extra 4?

I don`t think Spurs supporters need lectures from Liverpool supporters, a club who have never won the premiership themselves and who are frankly on the same level as Spurs these days whether you like it or not.
Tottenham gave Arsenal 3 champions league years for free in last 10 years.
