Completely irrelevant but do a lot of people in Holland know English? I'm going there soon so just wondering.

I think English is all Dutch to most people in Holland.

Most of them! It's the 2nd language

I would add that many Dutch citizens speak demonstrably better English than the Brits speak English.

Can't agree more with this bit. I haven't been this enthusiastic about United performances for maybe 4 or 5 years... Such a drastic improvement. OT was rocking at the weekend too.

I've been reading here for a while and really think the club is heading in the right direction with LVG.
Like some of you ,for nearly 20 years i disliked LVG. Always getting it right and the total domination of dutch football,winning everything with Ajax(I hate Ajax).
Always 65% ball possesion making the other team look pathetic.I always thought he was just lucky, with the best players.But as i grew up,I realized that he was actualy making players better.(Barca,AZ,Bayern) Not better in the sense of learning tricks or something,but better in being aware of your position and role in the team and doing your task with confidence.(not working with Falcao/Di Maria so far,but i know Louis is working on it).He even made the worst Dutch defense in modern history look like a fortress winning a bronze world cup-medal.

I think this is what we are seeing right now at United.LVG is the right man for United!Good times ahead!
