I doubt it very much. Mourinho is made of sterner stuff.
Read the article properly, he says we will be in the title race next season. And it's Daley Blind.

I still don't see where in that piece Blind is claiming we are challenging for the title, you seem to have fallen for a tabloid headline that doesn't explain the situation properly.
Blind said:
"We really are one team and that is an important thing. And we have to go on this way and keep in our mind that every game is a final. I think Manchester United is always a club that is fighting for the title. Of course other teams are watching us, but we have to watch ourselves, our own games, focus on that and then we will see where it ends."

While its mathematically possible there is still a title.
If we lose to Man U and Arsenal then its back on.
However, we can afford to draw both games, how many times when Jose sets a team up not to lose do they then lose?
Not many, and not this season.
Mourinho rarely loses a big game and he's not about to lose two on the trot. Chelsea could draw both which I think they will and still cruise to the title.
Sure plays a mean pinball
Every fan knows deep down Chelsea have already won it. Why Mourinho has so far refused to get the Tesco-Value Lambrinis out is beyond me.

Now that City have played themselves into the race for 4th, two draws will do nicely.
