He asked to leave in the summer, not with immediate effect.
Tuchel will be his successor at Dortmund
An appointment like Klopp would go against City's Barcelonesque style development. But you never know.
Maybe Klopp's taking a break before the Arsenal job
I reckon its Man City for him but I can see Real sacking Ancellotti if they dont win anything in which case why not ?

Sky said immediate effect but have now changed it
He will few options, city and Real being two of them. But rumours are that he'll take a year break like Pep did.

I think exactly that...
The rumours are he wants to take a break so he won't be replacing Pellegrini or Ancelotti just yet.
He will take a year out and see his options next year, he's done a magnificent job at BVB. Top manager.
In a years time what jobs could be available?
Van gaal and Wenger will both stay till the end of yheir contract. He won't go to Bayern. Mourinho says he wants a long stay at Chelsea.
If Liverpool don't improve next season maybe them?
"I suspect Pellegrini will be rather nervous now...."
I doubt it, he's made a pretty penny from City and will continue to do so whilst out of work.
So with the guy taking a break, how exactly is he to replace Pele and Anceloti?
Pep's contract runs out at the end of next season.
Hopefully he goes for the ultimate wum.

Somebody will make him an offer he can't refuse.
I have a feeling if Real sack Ancelotti, they'll replace him with a Zidane/Hierro combo

That depends on what Guardiola will do.
Pel is a dead man walking he has nothing to fear because his future is certain.
He's leaving a job at a club he loves because he's been drained by the intensity of the past 5 years. He won't take a job over the summer.
Klopp won't be coming to Arsenal. The Arsenal board are not ready to get rid of Wenger esp with improved performances recently, and no other club would take Wenger now at his age. As long as Wenger gets top 4 spot and fights for the FA Cup, the board is happy.

He leaves Dortmund in a mess though.
I think he's right to leave. It wasn't an easy decision I am sure. A new manager is a better bet to sort it out. Klopp knows that.
shocked
man city or real i suppose
or you could have the biggest shock ever in german football - and he goes to schalke
He'll have the choice of a number of clubs, but I think he'll go to Barca.
No other club would take Wenger? You're having a laugh.
