Debuchy

He's played like 10 games and you're writing him off?

He was bloody good when he actually played. Crap today though it must be said.

You guys are hard core. Dude has been out for 3/4 months.

He was okay. Hardly Sagna at his peak. Bellerin is good and I think he can definitely make it in the first team but he's still suspect defensively.

Bellerin is worse than Debuchy. I think Arsenal fans are so blinded as to see how many balls he gives away and how many times he gets turned inside out. Almost cost us the equalizer against Burnley when he slipped in the second half.

He was poor for no other reason than being rusty

Baffling decision to bring him back today, if Bellerin wasn't fit why not start Chambers instead?

I wouldn't write him off yet but I wasn't happy when we signed him and he has done nothing yet to change my mind. Only time he has really impressed me was whe. he played CB vs Liverpool.

He's decent. Our best RB.

He's been good for us in the few games he played

"Debuchy is our best RB" - this will become a buzz expression; a trite remark 'til the end of the season, I imagine. He should never have started today. Bellerin is solid on his day and is very handy asset going forward.

I'd get rid of Debuchy and Jenkinson at the end of the season and bring in some fresh blood.

He needs a run of games. The problem was the lack of a natural wide player in front of him.

debooty was poor but to borrow a famous analogy he was playing like ****.

Hopefully he is all thawed out and has reached a solid room temperature.

Wow some really short memories Debuchy is a quality all round RB and on the few games he played he was an upgrade on past it Sagna. Bellerin is anything but solid, his main weakness is that he needs to be more solid! Brilliant going forward and has loads of potential but Debuchy is easily ahead atm. If they're both fit then we are well covered at RB

Agreed.

I was more shocked of Gibbs today.

Gibbs has regressed sadly. Being on the bench doesnt help.

Debuchy is ahead at the moment? He hasn't even played for sixth months!

I don't have a short memory. Debuchy has had one very good performance this season and it has been at CB.

You could say the same about Sagna tbh

Thought he did reasonably well. Better than Gibbs

Any win could be described as a good win. However, Arsenal did not look good or confident today against a team that is closer to the bottom than to the top of the Championship.

Only an idiot would think that Bellerin is a better oversll option than the French National teams RB. He's a great young talent but has a huge amount to learn about defending and choices. As for yesterday, Debuchy able to play, he was the better option. You saw what happened to Per. Reading would have broken Bellerin. Yesterday was very much the game that needed men and not boys on the pitch. And that's exactly why Bellerin should have been left out and was.

Debuchy is the finished article and until he got injured was at worst, very good. He was looking like having a great season. He is, will be, and should be the first choice every time next season when back up to scratch. He was poor yesterday but everyone is after a long lay off.

Well everyone that's not named Giroud is anyway

He's a proven international.. he's got more caps than Bellerin has games for Arsenal, if Ozil or Sanchez got injured they don't go to the bottom of the pecking order.
