I was in the Kop in the 90's and my mate had a Chelsea badge on,so we asked the police if we could move to the Chelsea end.........they said no,and we were stuffed,so did not have to slap 10k scousers around.

I've been to most games this season missing about 7-8 in total and if I can't go then I'll try and sell my ticket to a few chelsea mates, if they don't go for it then I'll ask people on here if they want to go and certainly won't charge them £300!!

My mate couldn't go to the palace game and still only wanted £80 for it when it cost him just under £60, yes he's asking for more but I think everyone has a bit of greed in them and as long as you don't go for offensive prices then it's not all bad.

I'd rather pay an extra £20 and go to the game than not go at all, is that wrong of me?

I agree on the front that people who buy the tickets in mass orders then sell on for huge profits are the real bad culprits in this.

The amount of so called "fans" at the game that looked like they didn't even care what game they had turned up to see the game yesterday was farcical and left me thinking.. How did they get tickets!!!

It takes away the real fans going to the games that actually want to watch their team yet these people just swan in that can't even name 2 players including both teams that are playing.

I couldn't even get a ticket for Munich from official Club sources despite being a Season Ticket Holder.

So yes there are always going to be occasions when we are glad that we have got a particularly well-connected mate who can sort something out at face value from the corporate sector, as in Munich, but the touts would have charged me 10 times the amount that I paid for a £125.00 ticket. You have to question whether it is worth the humungus amounts involved. It is sheer profiteering from them when they know they have you by the bo llocks.

for the record I hate being approached by touts on my walk from Finborough Road to the railway bridge by the ground. Love it if someone mugged them one day

Bov, Block 16 is where I always sit so it looks like we were neighbours, but I did also see the disturbancies that you describe that was quite near but unrelated. Fack knows what that was all about. One bloke was taken out but then came back shortly after. I couldn't suss out what that particular incident was all about.

The Touts approach the punters from both ends of the ground. You approach from Fulham Broadway and they are there, you approach from Earls Court and they are all hanging around the Graveyard and Black Bull area.

I also would love to see someone turning them over but I think that they always ensure that they have muscle near to hand, possibly other Touts I don't know but in their game it would be prudent to have protection. Honour among thieves

bluebells, how did you get in the Kop with a Chelsea badge on? Someone must have been sharp eyed that day to allow that to happen.

My mate had a tiny lapel badge on,and as we travelled over on the overnight booze up Liverpool boat,we most likely looked like scousers, lol.

Think we lost 3 or 4 to 1,so no chance to celebrate much, mate.

I have never sold o ticket to a fellow fan for anything other than face value and I always sell to someone I know or to a fan. I have been offered more than face value but never accepted more. I think touts are bad but fans that make money out of their own are worse. I know it's dome and sometimes for good reason like a mates Don sold his arsenal champions league final ticket in 2006 for the value of his season ticket for the next year. He was outside the ground about to go in at the time. It's just not for me.

What are the laws in the UK regarding reselling tickets?

Because I need to buy match tickets and am too beautiful for prison

posted on 19/4/15

soccerlol, I am under the impression that it is illegal full stop. I don't think that there is any discernment as to whether they are sold for profit or not you just can't do it. On the few occasions when I have not been attending I normally give mine away for a mate to use rather than sell it. I believe that, that is OK to do.

Thanks 69 Tbf I should have signed up for true blues. Didn't realize I would have this opportunity at the time though.

I've got tickets for a couple of lads in our board this season.

Charged what I paid for them, the first lad paid more into my account for a beer as a thank you which was nice but I got the hump because I didn't want to take anything over the costs I'd stumped up.

Don't believe in ripping off fellow fans !

Across all walks of life be it football or music concerts touts are just scúm end of story. And its only the greedy who profit from this, the people who actually want to go have to pay ridocolously high prices and in the end loose out

posted on 19/4/15

Tbf Hounslow's I don't see an issue with that, many I know do let people use their ST's for the face value cost without comebacks but I just don't do it to stay strictly onside.

How are you anyway fella? You must be pleased with the Spurs result just now?
